Research On Present Situation And Countermeasures Of Beijing Youth Ice Hockey Events

Youth ice hockey training have been carried out in Beijing for 20 years,and Beijing youth ice hockey events have been held for 12 years.With the development of ice hockey in Beijing,the content of the game has gradually been enriched and the scale has been expanding.Beijing has become the city with the largest number of youth ice hockey participants and the best results nationwide.In 2016,the Beijing Municipal People’s Government issued the "Opinions on Accelerating the Development of Ice and Snow Sports" and 7 supporting work plans,and proposed to create an "ice hockey business card" in Beijing.The ice hockey has received widespread attention and strong support,and has ushered in relatively rapid development.As a visual focus,the ice hockey events form an important part of the hockey business card.This article focuses on the hockey events held in Beijing,with Beijing youth hockey players as the main athletes,and sponsored by government agencies.It uses the literature data,interview method,questionnaire survey,and mathematical statistics as the research methods,in combination with the actual situation seen during events organization and observed at the game site,combing the current status characteristics of the Beijing Youth Ice Hockey Events.Summarize the current problems of these events from a holistic level and propose targeted solutions.The research found that: First,after 12 years of development,the Beijing youth ice hockey events can be divided into three categories according to the different participating units: games between clubs,games between schools and games between districts.Second,the Beijing Youth Ice Hockey Events has exhibited the characteristics of highly repetitive participants,gradual refinement of groups,good rink and facilities,and participants are basically satisfied with the events.Third,there are the following problems in the events:(1)The number of referees is insufficient,and their ruling ability is significantly lower than the expectations of the participants.(2)The coaches are mixed,and their behavior is lack of constraint.(3)The audience are mainly parents,and the atmosphere is not good.(4)Athletes are of lower age and have serious losses.(5)The setting of the group is not reasonable enough,and the gap between the competition levels of the teams in the same group is large.(6)The distance between the rinks is far away,which affects the participation experience.(7)All events are separate and lack overall planning.In response to the problems,this article proposes countermeasures that can help the development of Beijing Youth Ice Hockey Events:(1)Improve the ruling ability of referees and reduce participants’ expectations.(2)Strengthen the management of coaches and establish an admission system.(3)Create a good rink atmosphere.(4)Construct rich-level events system.
