The rapid development of modern football has made football itself become confrontational sport with high intensity,sophisticated tactics and long duration which puts forward higher requirements on players’ physical fitness.Being able to keep moving fast and intensively is one of the targets pursued by modern football players.Football is a skill – dominated and confrontational sport.While players’ physical ability is playing an increasingly important role in modern football,the ability of single-foot balance also takes a significant place in football that is a necessary guarantee of receiving,passing,dribbling and shooting.The U15 age stage is the critical period of the physical development and the sexual development of adolescents.During this period,young players’ physical fitness is rapidly improved,so this stage is also considered as a golden period for the formation of human athletic ability.Therefore,the healthy development of young players’ physical fitness is the key to reaching their sports potential in the future.And scientific training methods have been the difficult problem unremittingly explored by the coaches and researchers.This study uses literature review method,expert interview method,questionnaire survey method,experimental method,mathematical statistics and other research methods,aiming to explore a set of suitable training methods for the majority of coaches to improve young players’ single-foot balance ability,by tracking the training of Beijing BSU U15 team and Hebei Ollie elite U15 team.Meanwhile,this study will figure out the correlation between players’ single-foot balance ability and technical level by testing the variation of their technical level after an intervention,so as to provide numerous coaches with a reference for adjusting physical training ratio.The main conclusions are as follows:1,Single-foot balance ability training in football specialized courses can effectively improve the U15 players’ single-foot dynamic and static balance ability.2,Single-foot balance ability training in football specialized courses can improve the U15 players’ basic technical ability.3,There is certain correlation between single-foot balance ability and specific technique in football.
