A Comparative Analysis Of Djokovic And Nadal’s Techniques And Tactics In The Hard-court Competition

Djokovic and Nadal have played 54 times and the record of victory in the game is 28-26.Djokovic leads Nadal.The two played 26 games in the hard court.Djokovic won 19-6.The loss win rate is significantly ahead of Nadal.Djokovic’s greater win rate in the hard court indicates that there is a big difference between the two players in the hard court.Therefore,this article selects 20 hard-court games between Djokovic and Nadal as the research object,and attempts to study the skills and tactics of the two players in the hard-court game by using the methods of literature,video observation and mathematical statistics,and then compares and analyzes them.The differences in the skills and tactics of the two men reached the following conclusions;(1)In hard-court games,Djokovic has the highest winning percentage in the inner corner of a serve,and Nadal has the highest winning percentage in the outer corner of the serve;Djokovic’s utilization rate of serve angle in the flat zone is the outer corner > Inner angle> Mid lane,the usage rate of the serving angle in the preemption zone is Inner angle> Outer angle> Midway;Nadal’s service angle utilization rate in the flat zone is Inner angle> Outer angle> Midway.There is no difference between the first and second goals scored by Vicki and Nadal,but Djokovic’s first and second win rates are higher than Nadal.(2)Djokovic uses the inner and outer corners to serve more.After establishing the advantage,he uses a forehand and a frontal interception to score.Nadal forced the opponent to reduce the quality of the serve by strongly rotating the serve,and then used the forehand to draw the ball.And backhand sideways attacking opponents.(3)Djokovic’s win rate in the first game and the second win rate in the hard court are higher than Nadal’s.After Djokovic’s return,the percentage of the ball is 8.8%higher than Nadal’s.Djokovic received a more advanced receiving position,oppressed the opponent through a deeper back midfield return serve,Nadal used a stable midfield and midfield return serve,and scored with a stalemate.(4)In the fourth beat and the stalemate stage,Djokovic will use the small ball change when he has the advantage,and the combination of techniques and tactics will be more abundant.Nadal uses more cuts in the backhand to change the way he hits the baseline.(5)During the stalemate phase,the two used the forehand and backhand to draw the ball to press the opponent’s backhand and then attack the opponent’s forehand position.The ratio of the opponent’s return line in the line-change shot was about50%.Djokovic Will use more forehand and backhand straight line to change the slash attack,Nadal used forehand draw and cut the line to change the line.(6)The scoring rates of the two stages are: Nadal’s serving stage accounts for40.6%,receiving stage accounts for 11.5%,and stalemate stage accounts for 48%;Djokovic’s serving stage accounts for 38.1%,and receiving stage accounts for 12.7%,the stalemate phase accounted for 49.2%,the two scores were most concentrated in the stalemate phase.
