Research objective: 3-6 years old is the golden period for children motor skills development.Motor skills in early childhood will have an important impact on the individual’s future development.Chinese scholars in recent years,many big muscle action the use of American professor Ulrich establishment development test namely TGMD-3 evaluation of children’s motor skills,but more relevant research focused on good urban economic development,the research on rural children is less,so this study using TGMD-3 test,urban and rural children in our validation TGMD-3 in 3 to 6years old children in urban and rural areas is effective.Methods: In this study,119 children aged 3 to 6 years old in urban kindergartens and 149 children aged 3 to 6 years old in urban kindergartens were selected as research subjects,and tgmd-3 was used to test the gross motor skills of children.By using independent sample t test,Pearson correlation analysis,cloning and coefficient test,principal component analysis and descriptive statistics,the basic characteristics of gross motor skills of urban and rural children were analyzed.Intergrader reliability,retest reliability,internal consistency reliability and structural validity of tgmd-3 scale;The specific scores of tgmd-3 indexes were analyzed.Results: 1.The basic characteristics of children’s motor skills are as follows: in moving skills,the performance of children in urban areas is better than that in rural areas(P < 0.01);however,other indicators do not show obvious regularity in different ages and genders.The overall performance of ball skills is slightly higher than that of rural children.2.In terms of index difficulty: the maximum difficulty coefficient of one-hand hitting the rebound ball is 0.12,which makes it difficult to distinguish the difference of children in this motor skill;Running is a relatively simple motor skill with a difficulty coefficient of 0.87.Other indicators are of moderate difficulty,with the difficulty coefficient between 0.36 and 0.74.3.According to the scores of all indicators,the percentage of people who scored at the scoring points of jumping on one foot and hitting the rebound ball with one hand was less than 50%.4,from the scale reliability and validity,hop,hands struck fixed ball and kick the ball of reliability between raters are less than 0.4,both hands to hit fixed ball and one hand measuring weight rebound of reliability are 0.20 and 0.29 respectively,and the internal consistency coefficient of scale(cloned Bach coefficient = 0.769),good structure validity check to bounce the ball and play fixed one hand in the structural validity of the results of this study belongs to move indexes.Research conclusion: TGMD-3 can’t distinguish good differences in urban and rural children’s big muscle action skills,the scale has good reliability and structural validity as a whole,most indicators testing method is simple,easy to implement,test results are accurate,and suitable for China’s urban and rural areas of 3-6 years old children’s motor skills evaluation,but according to the experimental results,Suggestions to increase the degree of difficulty of test running action and delete hop index,modify the throwing and hit the ball test indicators,according to the features in early motor development and the status quo of the sports activities,select project in early familiar from the test.
