A Study On The Ideological And Behavioral Characteristics And Guiding Strategies Of "Post-00s" College Students

Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the comprehensive reform in the field of higher education has been promoting in depth,the popularization level of higher education has been significantly improved,and the gross enrollment rate of higher education has achieved rapid growth.General Secretary Xi Jinping once put forward a major educational proposition for "cultivating for whom,cultivating what kind of people,and training people" in the forum at Peking University.The ideological and political work in Colleges and universities should focus on solving the problem of "cultivating for whom,cultivating what kind of people,and training people",and respond to the deep expectations of the party and people for higher education.More and more “Post-00s” enter university for higher education,and they become an important group of young college students.It is an imperative content in the higher education of our country to understand its ideological dynamic and behavior characteristics,mastering the laws and methods of Ideological and political education,reasonably carrying out ideological and political education in accordance with the line.This research adopts the method of questionnaire to carry out random sampling survey on the "Post-00s" college students of four categories of universities in Beijing.On the basis of the previous research on the key contents of college students in political concept and participation,moral cognition and practice,life value choice,legal cognition and rights protection,the "Post-00s" College Students’ understanding and usage of the network,traditional cultural identity and promotion are added in order to fully and accurately grasp the ideological and behavioral characteristics of "Post-00s" college students.This study analyzes the causes which affect students’ characteristics,and put forward reasonable educational guidance strategies.In this research,it is found that the political identity of " Post-00 s " college students is in good condition.They have basic judgments and opinions,diverse belief choices,vague ideals and beliefs,being passive and inflexible in political participation.The students have a good moral cognition and basically agree with the basic socialist moral standards,but the choice of moral behavior is uncertain and the knowledge and action are different.They have strong self-recognition.Most of them have goals and plans for college life,enjoying more diverse choices for life value.They pay more attention to the improvement of personal quality and ability,and emphasize the sense of happiness and experience in life.They show a strong reliance on the Internet,with correct understanding of the advantages and disadvantages of the network,but they are lack of self-management in the usage of the network.The awareness of law and personal rights is correct and strong,the recognition of law is high,the concept of rule of law is strong,and the awareness of rules is good,instead of getting a passive acceptance of management and punishment.They have a correct understanding of Chinese traditional culture and are in a high degree of identification with excellent part of it,they prefer symbolic culture and lack practical action to inherit and carry forward the ideological value connotation of excellent traditional culture.The influences on the thought and behavior of "Post-00s" college students include:the development and progress of socialist democracy and the rule of law;the reform of the socialist market economy system,the rapid development of the market economy;the continuous evolution of social thoughts with the mark of the times;the continuous promotion of the goal of the socialist cultural power and the cultural construction;the rapid development of the Internet,the emergence of new media;the school thought Think of the development and innovation of political education;family structure,family environment,family relations and other family changes.The existing "Three Outlooks" "Post-00s" are the basic factors influencing their thoughts and behaviors.The following strategies can be applied to guide the education of "Post-00s" college students: to specifically prepare the education in students’ personality and psychological characteristics.To strengthen the literacy education in network media and require correct new media awareness is established in students and teachers.In the face of the rapid renewal of knowledge,ideological and political work in colleges and universities should actively seek "change",and ideas and ways should be flexible and innovated.In view of the deviation of values in "Post-00s" college students,we should fortify the education on core values.In the face of the multiple collision of culture,we should emphasize the inheritance and development of excellent traditional culture and build up cultural self-confidence.
