With the acceleration of the modernization process,the transformation of society has made an impact on the traditional cultures which rooted in the local society and the self-sufficient farming economy.Many things,such as the traditional concepts,the ways of interaction between people and things,and the ideas of harmony between life and nature,are disappearing in the process of social transformation,which are just the essence of ethnic culture.Excellent ethnic folk arts are the treasures of Chinese ethnic culture,it emphasizes subjective imagination,free expression,and emotional expression,reflecting the most basic aesthetic concepts and spiritual qualities of mankind.Its diverse aesthetic forms and profound and rich cultural connotations are an important part of China’s intangible cultural heritage.The Chinese ethnic folk culture is rich,and the growth of children in the ethnic minority areas is inseparable from the influence of the ethnic culture.Penetrating the ethnic folk culture into children’s spiritual world and melting it into children’s mind will help to cultivate children’s cognitive interest in their own ethnic culture,and then play a subtle and positive role in the inheritance of traditional Chinese culture." Cat-like tile ",as a distinctive folk craft of Yunnan Bai people,is a symbol of Bai people’s longing for a better life.Its rich local characteristics can give children a sense of spiritual identity and belonging.This research aims to explore the theoretical and practical issues of the integration of Bai folk crafts into the kindergarten curriculum.The main research methods including literature method,observation method,interview method and action research method are adopted to explore the possibility and feasibility of integrating "cat-like tile" in Dali into kindergarten curriculum by taking "cat-like tile",one of the distinctive folk crafts in Yunnan’s Bai ethnic regions,as an example.This research is based on the development trend of multiculturalism,the needs of the inheritance of ethnic and folk cultures and the development of the Bai ethnic group characteristic cultural of kindergarten-based curriculum.Based on the fact that "cat-like tile" is not deeply explored in kindergarten education,the purpose and significance,ideas and methods,key points and difficulties of this study are determined after looking up a large number of reference materials and analyzing the educational connotation of " cat-like tile ".Becoming a partner with the teachers of a class from kindergarten A in Dali.The author designed the interview outline,observation record forms and activity plan together with the class teachers,and carried out specific practical research in the form of practice-reflection from five aspects of collective teaching activities,regional activities,outdoor construction activities,home education activities and environmental creation activities.Then,the author summarizes from the four aspects of the design of the activity plan,the performance of the children,the growth of teachers,and the author’s gains in the process of research.Suggestions are made on the four aspects of the effective use of ethnic folk resources,the integration of ethnic folk technology resources into the diversification of kindergarten curriculum,the improvement of teachers’ artistic quality of ethnic and folk technology,and the enhancement of cooperation and communication between teachers and parents.The results show that the integration of Bai folk crafts with“cat-like tile” as an example into the kindergarten curriculum can not only cultivate children’s sense of ethnic identity and pride,but also improve teachers’ ability to develop the ethnic folk culture of kindergarten-based curriculum,which has high feasibility and practical value.
