Ethnic education rooted in the development of minority regions not only bears the historical mission of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,but also the mission of the times to fight poverty,forge a sense of community among the Chinese nation,build a well-off society in all aspects,and implement rural revitalization,and ethnic education plays an important role in national development.This study takes Dali Prefecture Ethnic High School as a field site.As one of the best ethnic high schools in the province,Dali Prefecture Ethnic High School has always insisted on enrolling students for ethnic minority mountainous areas,and the percentage of ethnic minority students has been maintained at about 80%,and has achieved excellent educational results.Using the method of educational oral history and interviews with teachers and students,this paper comprehensively examines the development practices of Dali Prefecture Ethnic High School(1982-2021),summarizes and analyzes the practical experiences in the construction and development of Dali Prefecture Ethnic High School,and provides a reference for consideration for the development of local ethnic schools.The first chapter combs the history of educational development in Dali and the influence of practical factors of educational development,and shows the splendid culture in the history of Dali and its influence on modernity.Chapter 2 examines how the school was built and developed in the early years of its development(1982-2001)under the leadership of its first principal,relying primarily on the government’s financial support and the original culture of the educational subject to motivate students to learn,to get them through the "acculturation" phase quickly,to achieve academic success,and to make the school The school has gained social recognition.The third chapter examines the educational practice behavior of the school in the middle of its development(2001-2014),analyzes how the school develops in the new stage,and believes that the modernization of the school,the improvement of the school system and teacher management system,and the creation of the school brand have played an important role in the development of the school at this stage,and also promoted the ethnic students from the " acculturation " stage to the "cultural absorption" stage.Chapter 4 uses the educational oral history of the third principal as the primary source by exploring the behavior of the school’s developmental practices at the current stage(2014-2021)as the object of study to explore how the school came to be a "distinctive school" and the benefits of a distinctive cultural campus.The analysis suggests that under the influence of the multicultural campus,students moved from a simple stage of "cultural absorption" to a higher stage of "cultural creation".Several lessons were learned from the development of School Z: First,the government should build an ethnic education support system with "capital" as the core to support and protect the development of ethnic schools;Second,the society should try to build a platform for ethnic minority education practice for the purpose of "linkage" to promote the development of campus social community;Third,schools should build a model for implementing ethnic minority education with "development" as the goal,always keep the concept of development,always keep the spirit of reflection,and grow and progress together with students and teachers in the torrent of the times.We will grow and progress together with students and teachers in the current.
