Case Management Intervention In The Stress Of Elderly Family Caregivers In Large Cities

The group of elderly family caregivers comes into being under the background of the aging and aging population structure,the miniaturization of family structure and the increasing number of empty-nesters.Under the influence of the social endowment enterprise failing to provide adequate services for the elderly and the elderly in our country are more willing to provide for the elderly in the family,giving priority to family endowment is not only a choice to adapt to the current situation of social development in our country,but also the internal will of families and individuals.However,in this case,the balance of family pension is out of balance,the pressure of family caregivers is increasing,and there are many contradictions,resulting in the plight of elderly family caregivers,which will have a negative impact on individuals,families and society.Based on the case consulting service for elderly people in difficulties during the internship in Z community in Wuhan city,the author found that elderly people in difficulties assumed the responsibility of taking care of family members in a relatively common situation.As family caregivers,these elderly people not only face the pressure of their own health,but also the pressure of being caregivers,which makes them trapped in the caregiver dilemma.By sorting out the situation of multiple counseling objects,it is concluded that the elderly family caregivers are under pressure in six aspects: physical health,daily care,psychology,interpersonal communication,family relationship and material economy.There are health management,daily care,rehabilitation,interpersonal communication,spiritual comfort,family relations coordination and material and economic needs,and these needs have the characteristics of diversity,multiplicity,urgency and basic.On this basis,the author chose a representative X old man with case management service,the service with the support of community service for old projects,guided by the theory of social support,from the view of service objects of environment resources,combining the theory of cognitive behavior treatment directorincorrect cognition,develop a plan of a series of case management services.The entire service through the link of medical and professional resources,to provide domestic service case counseling,mobilised to participate in social work group,and community activities,links,community volunteer resources in health care,day care,interpersonal communication,spiritual comfort and family internal pressure five aspects to provide comprehensive support for the service object,alleviate the director in a healthy body,care,psychological comfort,interpersonal,and multiple pressure on family relationships.Finally,the service effectiveness was evaluated through the service object care stress scale,life condition questionnaire,service satisfaction scale,social worker observation,interview and case record.It is found that in the process of providing case management services for elderly family caregivers,social workers as service providers enhance the self-support of service objects,as resource linkers help to enhance the social network support of service objects,and as coordinators integrate services to improve service efficiency.In addition,in the current macro system,imperfect of policy and lagging development of pension services,a single service provided by the traditional case work and is difficult to meet the demand of multiple cases,guided by the theory of social support of case management services,provide comprehensive support services for elderly family caregivers,in solving the family caregivers of the elderly has its unique advantages and good effects in trouble.However,in the process of case management,there are also limitations such as insufficient ability to obtain resources,which leads to difficulties in obtaining some resources,and low professional identity recognition,which makes it difficult to intervene in family relations.
