A Study On The Sense Of Community Of Relocated Migrants From The Perspective Of Social Work

This paper reviews the relevant literature about sense of community,immigration and social work,poverty and social work at home and abroad,and quotes the concept of sense of community from community psychology.Based on the theory of social support,this paper takes the sense of community of immigrants in the resettlement community in the context of the current large-scale relocation,and takes the relocation Community C in District X of Anshun City,Guizhou Province as the survey point,and adopts the questionnaire survey,semi-structured interviews,participatory observation methods,indepth field research data collection.It is found that although the infrastructure and public services in the resettlement community are much more perfect than those in the relocation area,which are reflected in the balanced development of public education,medical and health care,social security,community services and so on,basically forming the employment training service system,community cultural service system,social governance service system,grass-roots party building service system,etc.,the questionnaire shows that the immigrants’ sense of community index in the current C community is still in the neutral range.At the same time,the basic information of respondents,community satisfaction and community participation,career change and economic income,neighborhood mutual assistance and problem solving,daily leisure and entertainment activities,social work service participation,satisfaction of poverty alleviation and relocation policy were investigated.Through in-depth interviews,we can understand the reality and difficulties of immigrant community sense,which can also be called the influencing factors of community sense,that is,ownership of rights and interests and local attachment,income and livelihood,public service,social support network and national cultural customs.Finally,this paper analyzes the advantages of social work in professional concepts,resource links,service goals and so on.From the perspective of social work,and under the theory of social support,the paper combines the formal support system with the informal support system,specifically to help build the formal support network including the government,community and social work institutions and the informal support system of families,neighbors and volunteers,in order to optimize the sense of immigrant community.I hope that through this article,we can call on all sectors of society to continue to pay attention to this special group and contribute to the construction of a harmonious society in the “post relocation era”.
