Research On The Shaping Functions And Paths Of Volunteer Service To College Students’ Values

In the "Top Ten Education" system,practical education is an important component.As a practical activity,college student volunteer service is one of the implementation forms of university practical education,which has a shaping function on university students’ values.Colleges and universities strengthen the education and guidance of values,which not only play a key role in the emergence of university students,but also have a significant meaning in strengthening the cultural confidence of college students.If the voluntary service has the molding function for college students’ values?What are the shaping functions? And how to further develop its shaping function? This article focuses on these issues.In addition to the introduction,the main content is comprised of four parts.The first part simply states the concepts related to voluntary service and values,and analyzes the relationship between them.By analyzing the connotation of values,the values are expounded from three aspects: country,individual and society.Values provide guidance for the development of voluntary service activities.Volunteer service is an important carrier and form of practice for the formation of values.The second part analyzes the molding function and theoretical basis of voluntary service for college students’ values.This shaping function mainly includes the shaping function of political beliefs,the shaping function of Ideal of life,the shaping function of individual moral character and the shaping function of public consciousness.It mainly discusses its theoretical basis from three perspectives: Marx’s theory of human comprehensive development,the principle of the relationship between practice and cognition,and the law of the formation of ideology and morality.The third part analyzes the status quo of shaping caused by voluntary service for college students’ values and the reasons.This article expounds the positive role of voluntary service in the shaping of university students’ values and the areas that need to be improved,and summarizes the reasons from the insufficient development of productive forces,the imperfect organization mechanism of voluntary service,the degree of emphasis by universities,and the volunteer political beliefs.The fourth part comes up with the specific path of shaping college students’ values by volunteer service on the basis of the status quo of the shaping of college students ’values by volunteer service and the reasons.First,build a "first-class" organization and create a values education environment.Secondly,create "first-class" service projects,and pay attention to the mediators that shape values.Thirdly,train "first-class" service teams and attach importance to the subject and object shaped by university students’ values.Fourthly,promote the socialization of volunteer service of college students by resource integration.Finally,in combination with public benefit activity to start businesses,the continuity of volunteer service for college students is improved.
