A Study On The Educational Function Of Volunteer Service For College Students

Volunteer service has public welfare and voluntary nature,which is a social practice that can train,shape,and cultivate people.It has positive significance for promoting the social culture of advocating morality and goodness,optimizing the practical education work of universities,and cultivating new people of the times.College student volunteers are vibrant and uplifting,and they play an important role in the development of volunteer service.Volunteer service has also deeply improved the ideological and moral qualities and social practice abilities of college student volunteers,playing a powerful educational role.The educational function of volunteer service for college students is specifically manifested as the shaping of ideals and beliefs,the tempering of moral qualities,the cultivation of social responsibility,the improvement of practical abilities,and the growth of knowledge and knowledge.However,there are still some practical factors that restrict the realization of the educational function of volunteer service.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to comprehensively explore the current situation of volunteer service education for college students,systematically analyze the reasons that affect the function of volunteer service education,and propose solutions for it.This article is mainly divided into five parts:The first part is an introduction,which elaborates on the research background and value of the paper based on the actual situation.Based on extensive search and in-depth reading,sort out domestic and foreign literature related to volunteer service,and briefly introduce the research methods and innovative points of the paper.The second part is an overview of volunteer service education for college students.Firstly,summarize the relevant concepts of volunteer service education for college students.Secondly,we will dig deeply into the Marxist theory,the relevant statements of the CPC and the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation,and summarize the theoretical basis for college students’ volunteer service education.Finally,elaborate on the rise and development process of college student volunteer service.The third part mainly explains the relevant content of the educational function of volunteer service for college students,including five contents and five characteristics of the educational function of volunteer service for college students,as well as the important value of exerting the educational function of volunteer service for individuals,universities,and societyThe fourth part elaborates on the current situation of the educational function of volunteer service for college students through a questionnaire survey.Firstly,summarize the achievements of volunteer service education for college students,and then analyze the problems in the process of exerting the function of volunteer service education from the survey results.Then,summarize the reasons that restrict the function of education from five aspects: students themselves,publicity and education,practical experience,mechanism improvement,and collaborative education.The fifth part summarizes the specific paths to achieve the educational function of volunteer service for college students,and puts forward corresponding suggestions from the aspects of self-improvement,theoretical education,practical experience,mechanism construction,and collaborative education.Specifically,it includes enhancing the internal driving force of college students,expanding publicity and education paths,innovating practical experience paths,improving long-term mechanisms,and optimizing collaborative education systems,in order to more effectively play the educational function of volunteer service for college students.
