| The family of origin shapes one’s character, affects one’s sense of self, values and emotional attitudes, and has a profound impact on one’s life.Middle school students have not yet entered the society, the impact of the family is deep.Different family parenting styles affect the formation process of self-identity,and then affect the subjective well-being of middle school students.Different parenting styles affect the formation of self-identity and also affect the subjective well-being of middle school students.Through questionnaire survey and statistical analysis, this study found the characteristics of parenting style, subjective well-being and self-identity,and further explored the relationship among the three variables,so as to build a relationship model among multivariate variables with subjective well-being as the dependent variable. It also discusses the influence of different parenting styles on students’self-identity in middle school and the relationship with subjective well-being.Based on the relationship model of parenting style,self-identity and subjective well-being,this paper provides effective educational suggestions for the growth of middle school students from orignal families.A total of 1,130 middle school students from two high schools, four middle schools and one technical secondary school in weifang were selected by questionnaire survey. The PBI scale of parenting style, subjective well-being scale and adolescent self-identity scale were selected for the test, and 1,103 valid questionnaires were finally screened, with an effective rate of 91%.Data were statistically analyzed using SPSS21.0 and AMOS22.0.The results showed:1.There were significant differences in the demographic variables of parenting style,self-identity and subjective well-being of middle school students. There were significant differences in gender between the two dimensions of general self-identity acquisition(t=3.580,P=0.000)and general closure early(t=5.390,P=0.000).The subjective well-being of middle school students was significantly different in grade(P=0.000),the happiness of middle school students from orignal family and structurally broken families was basically the same, and the happiness of middle school students was different in male and female(P=0.028).2.There were differences in parenting styles between middle school students from original families and those from structurally broken families. The specific performance is as follows:maternal care(t=5.439,P=0.000),maternal encouragement(t=5.652,P=0.000),maternal control(t=3.215,P=0.001),paternal care(t=4.402,P=0.000),paternal encouragement(t=5.609,P=0.000),paternal control(t=1.969,P=0.049).There were differences in ego identity, which were manifested as:general delay(t=-1.966,P=0.05),general early closure(t=-2.779,P=0.006),and general diffusion(t=-2.885,P=0.004).There were differences in subjective well-being:health concerns(t=-2.227,P=0.026),energy(t=-1.270,P=0.026),tension and relaxation(t=-2.156,P=0.031),but the differences were not significant.3.In the family of origin, there is a significant correlation between the parenting style of middle school students and their self-identity and subjective well-being.In the family of origin, there was a significant correlation between the parenting style and subjective well-being of middle school students(r=-0.006—0.286),a significant correlation between self-identity and subjective well-being(r=-0.003—0.165),and a significant correlation between parenting style and self-identity(r=0.124—0.174).4.In the relationship model of latent variables–maternal care–identity–subjective well-being,the model fits well(x~2=69.840,x~2/df=2.910,RMSEA=0.054,CFI=0.971,TLI=0.956,AGFI=0.957,NFI=0.956,IFI=0.971).In the model of maternal encouragement-identity obtaining-subjective well-being,the model fitted well(x~2=79.353,x~2/df=3.306,RMSEA=0.060,CFI=0.963,TLI=0.945,AGFI=0.948,NFI=0.963,IFI=0.951).In the model of paternal care-identity obtaining-subjective well-being,the model fits well(x~2=79.993,x~2/df=3.041,RMSEA=0.060,CFI=0.976,TLI=0.952,AGFI=0.953,NFI=0.968,IFI=0.956).5.Different parenting styles directly affect the subjective well-being of middle school students, and also significantly predict the subjective well-being of middle school students by influencing their self-identity.Self-identity plays a part of mediating role in parenting style and subjective well-being. |
