School adaptation is a precondition for students to live happily in school and achieve academic success.However,due to the change of school environment,the characteristics of individual physical and mental development,as well as the complexity of curriculum,there exists the phenomenon of school adaptation dilemma among junior middle school students.From the perspective of sociology of education,the study aims to investigate the family factors of school adjustment for middle school students.Through the questionnaire and interview for data collection,use SPSS and AMOS to process the data,the study found that in families of different socio-economic status,the parenting style is not the same,and the difference of education concept and method can influence and predict their children's situation of school adaptation.Parenting style plays a significant intermediary role between the socio-economic status of family and school adaptation of middle school students.For the sake of students' school adaptation,school and family should stay together and work closely and create a good environment for students to study and live,meanwhile.students should improve self-motivation and adapt to the school system and culture actively,and eventually learn to be successful.This study mainly consists of six parts,each of which is as follows:The first part is the introduction.The origin of the research is expounded from two aspects:the objective reality of junior middle school students' school adaptation dilemma and the transformation of the researcher's professional learning perspective;The value of this research is stated from the theoretical and practical significance;The relevant literatures on parenting style and school adaptation are reviewed,which lays a theoretical foundation for the research questions and theoretical framework;Then the research ideas and methods are described in detail;Finally,the research questions of this research are expounded and the corresponding research hypotheses are made.The second part introduces the object of this study for data and measurement,and explains the reasons for choosing the object;The content and scoring standard of research tools used in this study,such as the questionnaire of Parental Bonding Instrument and School Adapalion of Junior Middle Students,are described;The implementation process and data processing methods and procedures are summarized;The measurement details of variables are described;Finally,the test results of reliability and validity of the questionnaire are presented.The third part describes the statistical analysis results and simply statistics the demogjraphic information of junior middle school students,as well as their parents,occupation and education level;Then the differences of school adjustment and family socioeconomic status of junior middle school students in demographic variables were analyzed.The fourth part is the main research results of this study,including the correlation among junior middle school students' family socio-economic status,parenting style and school adaptation;Based on the results of correlation analysis,the regression analysis was carried out to determine the direction of prediction between variables;Finally,the mediating effect was tested by AMOS21.0,which clearly showed the mediating effect of family rearing style between family socio-economic status and school adaptation.The fifth part makes a theoretical analysis of the research results and puts forward corresponding educational suggestions for the relevant issues.The sixth part is the conclusion,which summarizes the research as a whole,and points out the innovative points,shortcomings and future prospects.
