According to the floating population survey report, nearly 18 million elderly people in our country left their homes where they lived most of their lives in their old age to come to their children ’s cities, and were imaged as elderly immigrants. As a special floating population that emerged during the rapid development of our society, they used strong Chinese affection to resolve the tension between professional roles and family roles in contemporary young families, while reshaping the intergenerational relationship in Chinese society.Leaving their homes brought them many psychological and physical integration problems, which caused widespread concern in society and academia. At present, the research on elderly immigrants in academic circles is mainly limited to the fields of sociology and anthropology, and there are few studies and practices in the field of design. This article focuses on the social integration of the elderly immigrants and corresponds it with the loss of the concept of home.First of all, through the family life cycle theory, the elderly immigrants is divided into stages. Then through literature interpretation and questionnaire survey, the actual needs of the elderly immigrants in the urban area of ??Hangzhou are divided into five aspects: physiological environment, medical problems, intergenerational communication, social integration and self-actualization.And found that in different stages of the elderly immigrants, the focus of demand is different. Finally, select the four typical stages of the elderly immigrants, formulate interview plans based on the results of the questionnaire survey, use service design tools to conduct case studies, summarize the needs and find design opportunities. In this article, the constituent elements of the home are summarized as geopolitical elements, community elements and spiritual elements.According to the survey results, the needs of the elderly immigrants are mapped to the three dimensions of the home: Living place-intergenerational communication and moderate aging,neighbor-maintenance and extension of social circle, spiritual home-cultural identity and self-realization.Finally,this article takes the "Home Online"-elderly immigrants of Hangzhou service platform as an example, applies the strategy to practice, and evaluates the design practice to further verify the reliability of the conclusion. The main research results of this article are: Based on the family life cycle theory, improve the research method of family user service design;aiming at the problem of social integration of the elderly immigrants, put forward corresponding service platform design strategies, and design service platform system for the elderly immigrants group in Hangzhou area, hoping to promote the research of the elderly immigrants from the perspective of design disciplines,to provide reference for subsequent researchers.
