Casework Involvement In The "the Elderly Immigrants"Community Integration

As the acceleration of urbanizating process and social and economic development,China's population flow has been increasing at a dramatically pace,and the elderly immigrants has also appeared to be increasingly large scale.The community is a relatively stable space for the life of this group,and integration into the community is the first step toward the society integration.How to ease the inner loneliness of the elderly immigrants with the support of various ecosystems and promote its integration into the community is the issue discussed in this study.Nowadays,academic circles and society are also paying more and more attention to the integration of the elderly immigrant community.However,there are many researches on the factors affecting the integration of the elderly immigrant community,and practical methods for promoting community integration are less studied;and social work methods are used to promote community integration.There are many researches,but there are less purposes involving in community integration from the perspective of case work.Therefore,this study uses the case work method to intervene in the integration of the elderly immigrant community,based on the ecosystem theory and social integration theory,to provide professional social work services for the elderly immigrants.Based on the community observation method and in-depth interview method,this study investigated and understood the integration of the elderly immigrants in the H community,and integrated the community into life style,community behavior,and community identity.In order to analyze the problem of community integration,the author conducts practical research on the integration of the elderly immigrant community through the method of individual intervention and uses the theory of ecosystem and social integration as a guide to help the elderly immigrants to improve the existing way of life.Reconstruct social network and relieve inner loneliness,link resources,solve the problem of community integration,and provide reference for the integration of the elderlyimmigrant community.The study found that the importance of ecosystem theory,but it could not solve all the problems.Close family and peer group systems can ease the internal loneliness of the case to some extent.However,it is also necessary to increase the participation of the owner of the case,improve the interpersonal communication system in the community,increase the sense of community belonging,and improve the quality of life.
