With the proposal of the three-level managerial system of curriculum,school-based curriculum has become the hot topic of physical education reform,drawn more and more attention from scholars and schools,and turned to be the green channel for primary and secondary schools developing special courses.This paper takes the school-based curriculum of fancy rope skipping that developed and designed by the author as the research object,and carries out the experiments in Shenyang Dingxiang primary school.The aim is to stimulate students’ interests in fancy rope skipping,promote the rapid development of students’ physical and mental health,and provide theoretical basis for schools to further develop and popularize school-based curriculum of fancy rope skipping.This research mainly uses the methods of literature,expert interview,questionnaire,teaching experiment and mathematical statistics to carry out the fancy rope skipping experiment of school-based curriculum in Dingxiang primary school.Two rounds experiments are carried out with the students who are selected in six classes of third and fourth grade of level two,and each round lasts for 16 weeks totally 32 teaching hours.The experimental results have shown:1.The developed school-based curriculum of fancy rope skipping in Dingxiang primary school mainly reflects four aspects: developing goal,principle,content design and evaluation scheme.2.The school-based curriculum of fancy rope skipping in Dingxiang primary school puts the techniques of fancy rope skipping and “Everlasting Classics” together,that is the effective combination of fancy rope skipping,traditional culture and every kind of dance movement element.Through the way of music delivering classics,it lets the spirit of student enjoy the edification of culture,stimulates students’ interests in participating sports,lets students experience the joy of combining learning with sports,and lays the foundation for developing the lifelong exercise habit.3.The results of two rounds Physical Health Test show: comparing with the traditional teaching curriculum,the school-based curriculum of fancy rope skipping has more advantages in enhancing students’ bounce,coordination,flexibility and stamina.4.After the first round experiment,the experimental group was better than the control group in cognitive dimension,personality dimension and adaptation dimension,it was manifested in 8 aspects like metacognition,creativity,self-confidence,optimism,interpersonal adaptation,emotional adaptation,social adaptation and learning adaptation.There was no significant difference between two groups in ambition,independence and self-control.After the second round experiment,the experimental group was better than the control group in cognitive dimension,personality dimension and adaptation dimension,it was manifested in 9 aspects like metacognition,creativity,self-confidence,independence,optimism,interpersonal adaptation,emotional adaptation,social adaptation and learning adaptation.The independence of experimental group in fourth grade showed significant difference,but learning adaptation of control group in third grade this time showed no obvious difference,ambition and self-control showed no significant difference.5.The experimental results show that: The development of the school-based curriculum of fancy rope skipping did have an effect on promoting the development of students’ physical and mental health.It is feasible and popularizing to carry out the school-based curriculum of fancy rope skipping in Dingxiang primary school.Suggestion: the development of school-based curriculum of fancy rope skipping should consider the condition of the school,draw up the suitable teaching plan and evaluation scheme,carry out the periodic reviews and summary,get scientific feedbake of teaching effect,improve the teaching contentbased on the interests and needs of the students;highly arouse the attention of the school leaders and support of the teachers,build the platform of practice and competition for students,and create a good learning atmosphere.
