| At the present stage of our country,the society is more and more recognized to strengthen parent-child reading and children’s reading and other ways beneficial to children’s healthy growth.In the public service of promoting early reading education in the whole society,parent-child reading in rural families should be paid more attention.Compared with urban public services of early reading education,the development of public service facilities for parent-child reading in rural pre-school children is unbalanced,inadequate,and the public service system is not sound.In many places,family reading service facilities and service guidance cannot meet the needs of families,and many families have difficulty in obtaining relevant resources.How to implement the public service of reading for children in rural families is a difficult problem in China.In this study,418 rural parents were selected as the questionnaire research subjects,10 rural children’s parents and 3 village heads were selected as the interview subjects,and the questionnaire was supplemented by interviews.This paper investigates the supply and demand of public reading services for preschool children in rural areas.Based on the results of the survey,the factors affecting the supply and demand of parent-child reading public services in rural families were discussed,and Suggestions were put forward to improve the supply and demand of parent-child reading public services in rural families.According to the analysis of the survey results,the current situation of the supply of public services for parent-child reading of preschool children in rural areas is as follows: the supply environment of public services is unbalanced,the supply materials of public services for parent-child reading are limited,and the family lacks correct guidance.The current situation of public service demand for parent-child reading of preschool children in rural areas is as follows: rural parents strongly demand a good public service environment for parent-child reading;rural parents demand diversified public service materials for parent-child reading;and rural parents demand diversified public service guidance forms for parent-child reading.From the current situation of supply and demand,it can be seen that the supply of parent-child reading public services in rural families cannot meet the needs of families.The factors affecting the supply and demand of public services for parent-child reading of preschool children in rural areas include social factors: the special environment in rural areas affects the creation of parent-child reading environment in rural families,the limited supply of materials and forms for parent-child reading in rural families,and the insufficient staffing affects the guidance of parent-child reading.Family factors: rural parents have a weak concept of parent-child reading for preschool children,and rural families cannot provide children with a high-quality parent-child reading environment.Based on the current situation of parent-child reading public services for preschool children in rural areas,this study proposes the following countermeasures:(1)at the social level: give full play to the role of the government,optimize the public service system for parent-child reading in rural areas,provide a variety of parent-child reading materials for families,increase personnel allocation,and improve the overall service capacity.(2)family level: to enhance rural parents’ support for parent-child reading public services for preschool children,and to enhance rural parents’ understanding of the importance of parent-child reading public services. |
