| Special children are the object of special education.They are all children who must receive special education for different reasons,or they are called children with special education needs.These children have certain defects in their physical or psychological development,including developmental barriers such as intelligence,vision,hearing,limbs,and emotions.Most parents experience periods of shock,rejection,despair,guilt,and acceptance.Such children need more time,energy,and financial support in companionship,rehabilitation,medical care,and education,which increases the pressure on parents;the child’s future survival and employment also puts pressure on parents,and parents’ psychological flexibility is not Can play a greater role,resulting in a greater impact on the quality of life of parents of special children.This study mainly explores the current situation of parental stress,psychological flexibility and quality of life of the parents of special children and the relationship between the three.The research is carried out using questionnaire survey methods and draws the following conclusions:(1)In terms of parenting pressure,there is a relatively high level of parenting pressure among parents of special children,and there are significant differences in employment status,monthly income level,family type,family origin,and educational level of parents.(2)In terms of psychological resilience,parents of special children have the best tenacity.Parents’ employment status,educational level,family monthly income level,and children’s degree of obstacles are significantly different.(3)In terms of quality of life,parents of special children have the highest scores in the physical field,followed by the psychological field.There are significant differences in the quality of life of parents ’employment status,family origin,parents’ educational level,family type,children’s degree of obstacles,and children’s obstacle categories.(4)There is a significant negative correlation between parental stress and quality of life;a significant negative correlation between parental stress and psychological elasticity;and a significant positive correlation between psychological elasticity and quality of life.(5)In terms of overall quality of life,the dimensions that have significant predictive effects on them are parental sorrow,strength and tenacity.Among them,parental sorrow has a positive predictive effect on the overall quality of life,and strength and tenacity have a significant positive predictive effect on the overall quality of life.(6)Psychological elasticity plays a part of the mediating role between parental pressure and quality of life of parents of special children.Based on the results of the above studies and the results of interviews,the ease of parental pressure on parents has significantly improved their quality of life and can further affect their physical and mental health.Therefore,from the perspective of the government,society,and the parents themselves,it is recommended to start with reducing the pressure on parental duties of special children,enhancing their psychological flexibility,and improving their quality of life. |
