With the issuing and implementation of Special Education Promotion Plan Phase Two(2017-2020),more and more people,who cared and attached importance to special children,are beginning to focus on the living conditions of special children's family and mental conditions of parents with special children as well.This study took two families in minorities-dominant areas as case objects,and gained data through interviews and participative observations,conclusions of which contraposing the mental pressure,source of pressure,counter measures of parents in the cases and the support from social support system etc.,are drawn via case objects analysis and inductive analysis.The parents in cases are suffering from server stress,which includes fatigue,sleeping disorders physically;and anxiety,pain,depression,anger,fear,self-accusation,regret,despair etc.mentally and feeling perplex,attention-deficit,and ineffective as well.The source of pressure mainly includes economic hardship,lifelong caring of special children,lack of accomplishment,social discrimination,over protection for children etc.The main countermeasures are faithful support,self-reliance,seeking help from relatives,people with same sufferings and from society.In terms of social support,regardless of national,provincial and prefectural special education polices being issued;there are still problems such as inefficient implementation of beneficial policies,lack of cooperation between government departments,discrimination from the public etc.At last,this study provided observations and suggestions regarding how to ease the mental pressure of parents with special children in minorities-dominant areas.
