In recent years,China has paid great attention to vocational education.As an important part of vocational education,secondary vocational schools are responsible for training front-line skilled talents for small and medium-sized enterprises.As a traditional major with strong practicality,the student and the graduates of it are required to possess both excellent theoretical knowledge and enough operating ability.With the economic development and social progress,enterprises have higher and higher requirements for the professionals major in accounting.In order to cultivate the students who acquire good vocational skills,meet the needs of industry development and are welcomed by employing units,the secondary vocational schools must explore and build a new teaching mode.Based on the above considerations,this paper investigates and improves the existing teaching mode of secondary vocational schools,explores and conducts the integration of the theory and practice teaching mode,and changes the disjunction of the theory teaching and practical teaching in secondary vocational schools.By means of reasonable teaching plans and arrangements,the theory courses and practice courses can join together more effectively.Through the analysis of the necessity and feasibility of implementing this model in secondary vocational schools,it has provided the theoretical basis for improving the quality of talent training in secondary vocational schools.This paper clarifies the purpose and the significance of the study by reading and sorting out relevant documents;employs the literature research method to clarify the connotation of the integration of the theory and practice teaching mode;utilizes the field survey method to conduct a questionnaire survey to accounting major students in a certain vocational education center in Chongqing;interviews and researches the teachers of professional courses;analyzes the teaching status and existing problems of the accounting major from the teacher and student levels;finishes the attribution analysis of the discovered problems.Based on those above,the paper designs and builds the integration of the theory and practice teaching mode,puts forward the necessary conditions,construction principles and implementation procedures for the operation of the integration of the theory and practice teaching mode,and uses the unit: the calculation of supply-the core unit of Basic Accountancy as the teaching case.After analyzing the teaching effect,the paper summarizes and refines the results after the implementation of the integration of the theory and practice teaching mode;provides reform ideas for the secondary vocational schools to better realize the integration of the theory and practice teaching mode;and points out the direction for the implementation path,which is helpful for vocational schools to develop new teaching methods and ideas in teaching.The integration of the theory and practice teaching mode of accounting majors in this paper can be used as reference samples for the teaching of accounting majors in vocational schools.It also can be promoted and applied in other major core courses,so as to better cultivate more applied technique-oriented accounting professionals for middle and small-sized enterprises.
