Legal consciousness is the subject’s cognition and experience of law and law phenomena.The cultivation and development of preschool teachers’ legal consciousness is not only closely related to their own professionalization and the improvement of preschool education quality,but also related to the achievement of the construction of a socialist country ruled by law in China.Judging from the current research status of legal consciousness,scholars’ research on legal consciousness has gradually expanded from the original legal field to the fields of psychology,sociology,and pedagogy,and it has achieved fruitful progress.But,there are few researches on the legal consciousness of preschool teachers.Therefore,under the background of constructing a high-quality preschool-teacher team,the research on such a topic has significant theoretical and practical significance.This research uses questionnaire method.As a research tool,the self-made questionnaire "Preschool Teachers’ Legal Consciousness Questionnaire" was used to investigate the status of legal consciousness of 318 preschool teachers from Anhui Province.This dissertation uses the application software of SPSS Statistics 22.0 to input and processes the data,and it rans simple statistical analyses,independent sample T test and analyses of variance to examine and describe the status and differences of preschool teacher’s legal consciousness and it’s four dimensions.Based on this,in order to reveal the main influence factor of preschool teachers’ legal consciousness,the research further uses interview method to communicate with 12 preschool teachers from Anhui Province.Based on it,it tries to put forward feasible suggestions for the cultivation and improvement on preschool teachers’ legal consciousness.The research results show that the legal consciousness of preschool teachers is generally at a medium level.Judging from the frequency distribution of the number of people,most of the preschool teachers’ legal consciousness is at a medium level or above,and only a small number of preschool teachers have a lower legal consciousness.From the four dimensions,preschool teachers have the highest scores on legal action awareness dimension,at a high level,which followed by legal evaluation scores,at the upper-middle level.legal knowledge and legal emotion scores are quite similar,both at a medium level.Judging from the differences,there are significant differences on legal consciousness among preschool teachers ofdifferent ages,lengths of teaching,educational backgrounds,major,the nature and geographical location of the kindergarten.The analysis of the interview results further shows that factors at the legal level,kindergarten level,social level,and itself are the factors affecting the development of preschool teachers’ legal consciousness.The degree of law-making’s perfection,justice and law enforcement,traditional legal culture of avoiding litigation,officer standard culture,mass media,kindergarten management system,teaching and research training activities,pre-service education background,awareness of rights,interests and demographic variables are the important factors influencing the development of preschool teachers’ legal consciousness.Based on the analysis of the development level and influential factors of preschool teachers’ legal consciousness,this research attempts to promote the cultivation and promotion of preschool teachers’ legal consciousness from the following suggestions which include: promoting the good operation of laws,reforming the legal curriculum settings in universities,completing the on-the-job legal education,improving the management system of kindergarten and strengthening the legal education leadership of kindergarten head-teachers over preschool teachers.
