Research On The Influence Of Coach’s Leadership Behavior On Team Cohesion

For group projects,the success of sports teams depends not only on the collection of individual skills of members,but also on technical and tactical issues.With the in-depth development of sports team research,some issues related to social psychology also began to receive wider attention.This article starts from the perspective of athletes,and after consulting a large amount of literature,using "Sports Leadership Behavior Scale","Coach and Athlete Relationship Scale" and "Sports Group Environment Scale" to survey 280 athletes,and General demographic information was obtained.With the help of SPSS 20.0 and Amos 22.0 statistical software,the data was analyzed using descriptive statistics,analysis of variance,and regression analysis to build a model of coaching leadership behavior,coach-athlete relationship and team cohesion relationship,and the coach-athlete relationship The intermediary role of the three is tested to explore the mechanism of action between the three.Draw the following main conclusions:(1)The most commonly used leadership behavior of the coach is the training and guidance behavior,and the use of autocratic behavior is less;The perception of male athletes in the dimensions of training and guidance,democratic behavior,social support and positive feedback was significantly higher than that of female athletes.The coach-athlete relationship has the highest level of cognitive dimension.The coach-athlete relationship level of male athletes is significantly higher than that of female athletes.In team cohesion,the dimensions of group social attraction are high,and the team cohesion level of male athletes is significantly higher than that of female athletes,and there is a significant difference in the length of time athletes join the team.(2)There is a significant correlation between coach leadership behavior and team cohesion.Among them,training and guidance behavior,democratic behavior,positive feedback,and social support behavior can significantly predict team cohesion,and authoritarian behavior significantly predicts team cohesion.Training and guidance behaviors,democratic behaviors have the strongest explanation for team cohesion;there is a significant correlation between coach leadership behaviors and coach-athlete relationships,among which training and guidance behaviors,democratic behaviors,positive feedback,and social support are Significantly positively predicts the coach-athlete relationship,authoritarian behavior significantly negatively predicts the coach-athlete relationship,training and coaching behavior and social support behavior have a strong explanatory power on the coach-athlete relationship;coach-athlete relationship and team There is a significant positive correlation between cohesion,and the behavior dimension has the strongest explanatory power for team cohesion.(3)Coach leadership behavior not only has a direct impact on team cohesion,but also has an indirect effect on team cohesion through the coach-athlete relationship.The coach-athlete relationship has a mediating role between coach leadership and team cohesion.
