Research On Design And Application Of Virtual Teacher Based On Affective Computing

In the 21 st century,the rapid development of cloud computing,artificial intelligence,virtual reality technology has promoted the reform of education models and teaching methods,and at the same time provided strong technical support for the development of educational informatization.During the COVID-19,online education and online classrooms have become the preferred teaching methods in primary and secondary schools,but online learning lacks effective supervision and emotional interaction.In recent years,artificial intelligence has begun to enter the field of education.The maturity and advancement of 5G technology have promoted the emergence of virtual teachers.The characteristics of intelligence,interactivity and vividness of virtual teachers can provide effective teaching aids for online learning,help teachers to teach,provide learning guidance,and the human-computer collaboration meets the learning needs of different learners.However,the current virtual teacher learning lacks the emotional communication between teachers and students,and the lack of emotional companionship will lead to the low learning enthusiasm of the learners and the problem of the lack of the learners’ emotions.Applying affective computing to the design of virtual teachers can pay attention to the changes of learners ’emotions in online learning,meet learners’ emotional needs for learning,and improve learning satisfaction.In the context of current informationization and artificial intelligence,the research analyzes the current situation of emotional computing and virtual teacher research at home and abroad,and summarizes the problem of insufficient attention to emotion in virtual teacher research.In view of the importance of emotions in the learning process,combining emotion computing with virtual teachers,based on the collection,recognition and division of learner emotion data,a virtual teacher based on emotion computing is designed;Then consider the characteristics of real teachers,complete the design of virtual teacher image and teaching actions,aiming to show more specific emotion expression and student interaction;Finally,a virtual teacher teaching model based on sentiment computing is constructed.Taking a middle school teacher in a certain place as an example of online course learning,a control group experiment is used to verify.Through research,The virtual teacher based on emotion calculation can effectively motivate the learner,make up for the lack of emotion in the learner’s learning process,reduce learning loneliness and improve learning satisfaction.Virtual teachers based on emotional computing can better embody the "learner-centered" educational concept,and take a solid step for the establishment of teacher-student relationship under the cooperation of human and computer,and the establishment of emotional interaction between teachers and students.
