| In recent years,more and more schools have preferred to the development model of running schools with distinctive features.The characteristic development carried out by the school is conducive to its connotative development model,which will fundamentally improve school’s running efficiency.By analyzing theories related to school characteristics,and summarizing the practical experience of school’s characteristics construction,it will help more schools to carry out targeted practical exploration.This paper takes the characteristics of art education in a community primary school as an example,and uses three research methods: case study method,in-depth interview method and literature research method.It is divided into four parts,with regard to the following four aspects: firstly,through analyzing the history of S primary school,identify it’s orientation—— a typical community primary school.On the basis of clarifying the combination of S primary school and art education,it elucidates the development context with school characteristics: advanced school-running philosophy,excellent facilities,finest teacher’ s team and innovative teaching ideas as the main line.Secondly,by analyzing the school’s running philosophy and the exploration of characteristic project,the paper summarizes the qualities that S primary school owned for its successful characteristic development,that is,to implement the "happiness-oriented education" as its school-running philosophy and create a series of basic pattern of characteristic project exploration featured by campus atmosphere,artistic activities,training mode and school-running effects.Thirdly,in terms of school’s current development situation,due to the high-level development stage with school’s characteristics,the continuity of characteristics practice and the confusion of characteristics positioning,there are still three problems that need to be improved: teacher’s levels need to be strengthened,the effects of practice should be improved,and expand the space for teaching quality.Finally,based on the actual situation of S primary school,take many aspects into account,the paper puts forward optimization strategies suitable for the characteristic development of community primary schools from three perspectives respectively: integrate teaching staff,highlight practical effects,and improve teaching quality.This study aims to help schools,especially primary schools,to find their own potential problems,optimize the development of school characteristic in a more targeted manner,and serves as a certain promoter in exploring the practice of characteristic development in similar schools. |
