As microsystem of education ecosystem, classroom ecology has just started to be studied by domestic scholars presently. Especially, there are few studies on classroom ecology of English classes in primary schools. Based on previous study status, as initial investigation on classroom ecology of English classes in primary schools, this paper summarizes and analyses ecological unbalance in English classes in primary schools at this stage and proposes optimization opinions of English classes in primary schools by mainly using relevant theories of ecology, educational ecology and classroom ecology, making on-the-spot investigation of representative X and Y primary school located in N, Guangdong province and combining with study methods including method, observation method, questionnaire method and interview method. It aims to enrich studies on ecology of English classes in primary schools and makes tentative efforts to create sustainable development of ecological classrooms.The research is through introduction of structure, features and functions of classroom ecology, discussing its connotation to understand operation status of internal classroom ecology, and it provides theoretical guidance for exploring superficial characteristics of English classroom ecology unbalance in primary schools. The researcher investigates English class of X and Y primary school located in N city, Guangdong province. Combining self-internship and understandings towards classroom ecology unbalance, the author summarizes superficial characteristics and analyzes the reasons for English classroom ecology unbalance in primary schools from information flow, material flow and energy flow existing in English classroom ecology in primary schools.Aiming at the summary and understandings of superficial characteristics of ecological unbalance of primary English class in N city, Guangdong province at this stage, combining the results of students questionnaire and teachers’ interview, using excellent teaching cases in Guangdong province, the research tentatively put forward optimization strategies and make efforts to build a sustainable developing ecological classroom from the aspects of the idea and the operational strategy.
