Life Education For College Students

Xi Jinping,also the general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee took part in a deliberation with his fellow deputies from the delegation of Inner Mongolia autonomous region at the Third Session of the 13 th National People’s Congress on May 22,2020,stating that People first,life first.The general secretary attaches great importance to people’s life and health issues.Especially the novel coronavirus have spread throughout around the world in early 2020,human beings are more aware that there is nothing important than life and life education.The group of college students is the most energetic,active and creative one,who is the major force to the successful construction of the cause of socialism.However,there are some college students who despise life and do not pay attention to physical health in our daily life.Therefore,this paper actively promotes life education for this group from the perspective of the natural existence of the college students’ life in order to enable students recognize the meaning of life,cherish life,appreciate life and grow up healthily.The paper is divided into four parts: the first part is the basis and significance of the topic,research situation both at home and abroad,research thoughts and methods and its innovation.The second part is an overview of life education for college students.On the basis of the definition of core concepts including life,life education and college students’ life education,theoretical basis is elaborated in this paper,including Marx’s thoughts on the nature of man,the thoughts on life in traditional Chinese culture,Mao Zedong’s theory on the value of life and death and life is first that is put forward by President Xi to further states the content of life education and analyzes the importance of life education for college students.The third part summarizes the problems existing in life education of college students from four aspects in which the content of life education is incomplete,the system of life education needs to be improved,between family and school and society is lacking of cooperation,and the effect of life education is not ideal.Then,this paper analyzed these problems from the aspects of family and self-concept and other four aspects.The fourth part,according to the problems existing in life education of contemporary college students,corresponding solutions are taken from the society,school,family and college students.
