| Case method is a method that emphasizes students as the main body,through involving students in the case study discussion,in order to achieve the teaching goal and improve the teaching effect.It can not only improve students’ autonomous learning ability,problem-solving ability,but also improve teachers’ teaching level.Case method is now widely used at all levels of education."Basic Accounting" is an introductory course for accountants to engage in accounting work.It is a practical and applied course,which aims at training students’ ability to practice on the basis of basic accounting theory knowledge.By using the methods of literature research,interview,classroom observation and personal teaching practice,this study explores the problems in the teaching application of basic accounting in Case method,make recommendations for effective implementation.This paper mainly includes two parts: theoretical research and practical research.The research methods used are literature,interview and classroom observation.In the part of theoretical research,the author finds out the origin of Case method,summarizes the current research situation of Case method,and defines the concept of Case method,the paper also analyzes the theoretical basis of Case method,which provides a basis for its practical application in teaching.In the part of Practice Research,the author investigates the application of Case method in the course of basic accounting by means of literature review,interviews,classroom observation,etc.,the author found that although the use of Case method can improve students’ learning enthusiasm,enhance the communication and interaction between teachers and students,it can also stimulate students’ love for basic accounting,and improve the teaching effect.However,through interviews and classroom observation,it is found that there are still some problems in the process of practical application,such as the inaccurate orientation of teachers’ role,the unreasonable selection of cases,and the low level of students’ participation,the main reasons of finding out the problems lie in teachers’ insufficient ability to use case teaching method,students’ weak sense of subject,improper learning attitude and lack of high-quality case resources.In the end,some suggestions are put forward to solve these problems,such as selecting highquality case teaching content,improving teachers’ ability to use Case method,and strengthening students’ adaptability to Case method. |
