How can we improve the quality of vocational and technical education as our country becomes more Comprehensive National Power and there is an urgent need for skilled personnel in all walks of life? How to build a great teaching force? How to create an efficient classroom? Case method has certain advantages.Case method is a teaching method that is situational and open,and is presented through cases,as a secondary vocational accounting teacher,how to link up the classroom professional knowledge through one or several related cases in class is a problem that vocational and technical education accounting teachers need to think about,as some front-line secondary vocational accounting teachers do not have a deep understanding of Case method,there are some problems in the teaching process.Through the questionnaire survey to understand the student learning situation and the teacher teaching method,through classroom observation,it was found that teachers had neglected students’ characteristics,improperly selected cases,improperly arranged Case method hours for case discussions,and had not played a leading role in implementing Case method teaching,the reasons for this are that teachers have insufficient knowledge of Case method,teachers’ quality needs to be further improved and their values are influenced by tradition.In order to try to find a targeted countermeasure,this paper takes“The relationship between accounting elements and the accounting balance formula” as a teaching example,and through the questionnaire survey and SPSS Independent T experiment to conduct pre-test and post-test comparative analysis to verify the Case method good practical effect in basic accounting teaching in secondary vocational schools.The paper concluded that the Case method could cultivate students’ comprehensive vocational ability and optimize the teaching effect of the basic accounting course in secondary vocational schools,the suggestions are to raise the awareness of Case method,to establish a case base,to improve teachers’ quality,to adopt a creative approach to curriculum implementation,to establish a teacher-student community,and to establish a multiple evaluation system.As our Comprehensive National Power grows and there is an urgent need for skilled personnel in all walks of life,the state has put forward proposals for improving the quality of education and training.
