Case Work Enhances The Social Participation Of Elderly Veterans

Elderly veterans are a special group of elderly people.Whether in war or peace,they have dedicated their precious youth to the motherland.The report of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that military personnel should be a profession respected by the whole society.Elderly veterans will give full play to their social role,which will have a major and far-reaching impact on the consolidation of military morale,the building of a strong national defense,and the realization of the party’s goal of strengthening the military in the new era.Therefore,how to enhance the enthusiasm of elderly veterans to participate in society,so that they can use their residual heat and heat,is the focus of this article.This article first combs the research status of domestic and foreign policy on elderly veterans and the social participation of the elderly,understands the existing research results and the latest research directions,and then reviews the existing research status,and elaborates the research content,research methods and research Innovative.Secondly,define the concepts of elderly veterans,social participation,and case work.Guided by active aging theory,activity theory,and social support network theory,through questionnaire surveys,we will gain insights into the status quo of social participation of elderly veterans and explore the elderly The basic characteristics of the veteran group and the main factors affecting social participation.Use case work again,apply social work theory,methods and practical skills to the promotion of social participation of elderly veterans,and carry out the work of receiving,estimating,planning,intervening,evaluating,closing and following up the case in turn for the service target.Finally,I summarized the research and reflected on the application of professional methods and skills.Through the intervention of this case work,the following conclusions can be drawn:First,the social participation of elderly veterans is affected by many comprehensive factors.Second,it is necessary for social work to intervene in the social participation of elderly veterans.Third,case work has been effective in enhancing the social participation of elderly veterans.
