Reading is the main way for people to obtain knowledge and information.Early reading is the beginning of a person’s reading ability and lifelong learning,and is the basis for a person to be competent in various tasks in the future.Early reading not only positively promotes children’s language and logic skills,but also plays an important role in the development of children’s later intelligence.Reading for preschool children has long attracted much attention worldwide.In foreign countries,many children develop good reading habits before they go to elementary school.However,domestic preschool children started late in reading,and more,in-depth,and systematic discussions are needed on the practice of guiding early reading for preschool children.In particular,the reading status of preschool children in rural areas in China,due to the education level and growth environment,the quantity and quality of reading are generally lower than that of urban preschool children,and there is a huge gap compared with foreign preschool children.This study will take the reading status of rural preschool children in Wuzhi County as an example to further explore the factors restricting the reading development of rural preschool children,find the problems existing in rural preschool children’s reading and make suggestions.This study will conduct an in-depth investigation and analysis of the reading status of rural preschool children in Wuzhi County by comprehensively using literature research methods,questionnaire survey methods,in-depth interview methods and summary induction methods.This research is mainly divided into four stages:one is to collect and read relevant domestic and foreign literature through the literature research method,systematically comb the relevant theoretical knowledge points,and analyze and sort the existing research results in the field of reading for preschool children;the second is to pass Questionnaire survey method and in-depth interview method are used to further analyze the status quo of rural preschool children’s reading,find out the reasons for this status quo and hidden problems,and explore the root causes of related problems;the fourth is through the summary and induction method,according to what Find the problems and the root causes of the problems,and draw conclusions.According to the enlightenment brought by the conclusion,the corresponding suggestions are put forward,hoping to play a reference role for the related research of rural preschool children’s reading.
