Research On The Impact Of Beijing’s Hosting Of International Large-scale Comprehensive Sports Events On The Construction Of International Exchange Center

This research combines a variety of research methods and a large amount of domestic and foreign documents to discuss and summarize the valuable experience of hosting international large-scale comprehensive sports events and the construction of international exchange centers,and draw relevant enlightenments for the holding of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.Put forward a theoretical basis for the follow-up and sustainable development of the event.The research results show that: 1.Through three international large-scale comprehensive sports events,the number of Beijing sister cities has increased by 26,the international influence has been continuously strengthened,and the international status has been continuously improved,which has further promoted the construction of Beijing International Exchange Center;2.Foreign businessmen The number of investment companies increased by 3,187 in just one year of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games,which fully reflects the huge influence of the Olympic Games;3.Through the successful hosting of large-scale international sports events in Beijing,the number of international conferences held in Beijing has continued to increase.increase.From 1996 to 2001,the number of international conferences held in Beijing was 291,and from 2001 to 2008,the number of international conferences held in Beijing was 617.The increase in the number of international conferences held and the further expansion of the scope of influence can directly promote the construction of the Beijing International Exchange Center;4.The increase in the number of arrivals and the development of the tourism industry to drive economic growth are important ways to promote the construction of the International Exchange Center.During the 1990 Asian Games,the inbound population in Beijing was 1million,and during the 2008 Olympic Games,the inbound population in Beijing was 3.79million;5.Demonstrating the charm,prestige and status of the country is one of the important factors influencing the charm of the construction of a center for international exchanges.6.The construction of high-tech comprehensive stadiums and international aviation port facilities is an important medium and carrier to promote the construction of the international exchange center.The improvement of the city’s image is an important symbolic factor in the construction of Beijing’s international exchange center.There was only one terminal in Beijing during the 1990 Asian Games,and the T3 terminal was set up during the 2008 Olympic Games;7.Further construct a comprehensive,diverse,and multi-functional service system to promote the construction of the Beijing International Exchange Center.In 1990,the number of foreign-related hotels in Beijing was 128.By2008,the number of foreign-related hotels in Beijing had increased to 694.Recommendations:1.Improve the international and regional balance of friendship cities and form a network system with a reasonable layout;2.Continue to improve the investment environment and foreign investment regulations and policies,and provide suggestions for the success of the 2022 Winter Olympics;3.Beijing’s sports diplomacy should actively improve the system and mechanism while changing traditi onal ideologies and concepts,and enhance sports diplomacy.At the same time,the relevant facilities of international conferences should be further improved;improve planning and organization capabilities,conference internationalization and professional service levels;4.Make full use of the media to spread Beijing’s tourism image;extend sports tourism products,extend sports tourism effects,and fully Give full play to the sustainable economic development in the "post-Olympic" era;continuously improve the level of tourism services to show the city’s style;5.Actively carry out external publicity,and actively strengthen contacts and cooperation with international media.The government should establish a sound service-oriented image to promote the city "Charm" sustainable development;6.Improve the public sports service system,innovate the system and mechanism,actively explore the management and operation mode of the stadium,change the operation mode,and explore the market-oriented operation mode;7.Strengthen the service awareness and improve the level of foreign affairs management,Continuously improve foreign-related laws and regulations and vigorously build a first-class foreign-related environment.
