| In the context of the new era,with the change of health concepts,people pay more and more attention to mental health,and the mental health of junior high school students has attracted more attention.Junior high school students are in the age of high incidence of social anxiety.Social anxiety can damage students’ social communication function,and in severe cases,they can develop into social anxiety disorder,which affects their physical and mental health.Negative life events are one of the inducements of social anxiety,and comprehension of social support and psychological capital as an individual’s external and internal resources,respectively,play a protective role in the individual’s mental health.Therefore,this research aims to explore the role of social support and psychological capital in understanding the relationship between negative life events and social anxiety,and based on this,design group psychological counseling programs,in order to enhance students’ understanding of social support and psychological capital Level,thereby alleviating social anxiety.In order to explore the relationship between the four variables of negative life events,social support,psychological capital,and social anxiety,In the first study,738 students in a middle school were investigated with The Adolescent Life Events Scale(ASLEC),Perceived Social Support(SPSS),Positive Psychological Capital Questionnaire(PPQ),and Social Anxiety Scale(LSAS).The results showed that :(1)The four variables of negative life events,perceived social support,psychological capital,and social anxiety are significantly correlated in pairs.(2)Negative life events can positively predict social anxiety.(3)Psychological capital plays a mediating role between negative life events and social anxiety.(4)Perceived Social Support and psychological capital play a chain mediating role in the relationship between negative life events and social anxiety.The second study designs a group psychological counseling program based on the psychological capital intervention(PCI)model on the basis of the first study.The goal of implementing group psychological counseling is to improve the level of psychological capital and the level of social support.62 junior high school students whose scores on the Social Anxiety Scale(LSAS)were greater than 60 and the Extreme Psychological Capital Questionnaire(PPQ)scores were less than 120 were selected as the research objects.These intervention subjects were randomly divided into intervention group and control group.For the intervention group,a group psychological counseling intervention was carried out for 8 weeks,and a follow-up measurement was carried out 3 months after the group psychological counseling ended.The results showed that :(1)After the group psychological counseling ended,the intervention group’s psychological capital level and perceived social support level increased significantly,and the level of social anxiety decreased significantly.(2)In the control group,the scores of perceived social support,psychological capital,and social anxiety did not change significantly before and after the intervention.(3)The follow-up measurement results after 3 months showed that the intervention group and the control group had significant differences in the level of perceived social support,psychological capital,and social anxiety.The result is as follows(1)Negative life events can significantly positively predict the social anxiety level of junior high school students.(2)Psychological capital plays a mediating role between negative life events and social anxiety.(3)The perceived Social Support and psychological capital play a chain mediating role in the relationship between negative life events and social anxiety.(4)Group psychological counseling based on the Psychological Capital Intervention(PCI)model to improve the The perceived Social Support and psychological capital.Group counseling can effectively improve the level of comprehension of social support and psychological capital of junior high school students,and reduce the level of social anxiety. |
