As a subsystem of society,education undertakes the functions of cultivating and socializing people’s knowledge and ability,and inheriting national culture.The development of educational activities requires specific time and space conditions,and constantly builds and adjusts time and space.At the beginning of 2020,with the outbreak of the epidemic,the teaching work turn to the online rapidly,which undoubtedly boosts the online institutions,but pushes the offline institutions to the forefront.All teaching activities were moved online one after another.As a new "anchor",teachers were full of jokes.The development of education behind this is thought-provoking.Therefore,this paper takes the transformation of education space under the epidemic situation as the background,takes the teachers of traditional offline institutions as the research object,takes the spatial theory and role theory as the support,analyzes the process of spatial reproduction,summarizes the role dilemma faced by the teachers of institutions,and explores the reconstruction of the role of teachers and the reconstruction of the relationship between teaching subjects.And return to the essence of education to think about the new ecological development trend of education under the background of digitization.Throughout the history of education development,the production changes of educational space have experienced the development process of the coexistence and integration of offline,offline and online.During the epidemic,teachers are faced with difficulties in field,role and relationship,and it is difficult to establish effective interaction between teachers and students.Traditional offline teaching methods fail in online space.The particularity of the epidemic led to physical isolation of the teaching subjects,and the teaching places naturally shifted from offline to online,thus forming new teaching places.Therefore,their spatial reproduction experienced three processes:spatial isolation,compression and expansion,and spatial reproduction.Secondly,the reshaping of the role of teachers.The change of space leads to the change of the role of subjects and the interaction between subjects,and the role of teachers is reshaped in the dimensions of skills and concepts.At the skill level,teachers are the supporters of material equipment,the ability of technical operation,and the control of the pace of class.At the cognitive level,teachers act as the guide of teaching objectives,the communicator of knowledge content,the maintainer of teacher-student relationship,the innovator of teaching system and the seller of online courses.Not only the role of teachers has changed,but the relationship between teachers and students has also been reconstructed in the three directions of equality,extensibility and emotion.Finally,based on the present situation of teaching activities,it analyzes the new ecology of education and teaching.The development of information technology greatly enriches the teaching methods and gives birth to a new ecology of education.In a word,relying on information technology,promoting the integration of OMO and seeking effective interaction between subjects and subjects and objects will be the development direction of the new ecological education under the background of digital.
