Self esteem is the whole feeling of individual self ability and self value.Studies have shown that the higher level of self-esteem of primary school students is to promote students to establish good interpersonal relationships,but also help students improve all aspects of ability.Self esteem has always been one of the important contents of psychological researchers.It plays an important role in establishing a healthy and positive personality,Primary school is an important period for the development of self-esteem,Although there are many studies on the level of self-esteem in primary schools in China,there are few studies on the intervention of the level of self-esteem of senior primary school students and the intervention of the level of self-esteem of students through sand play therapy.In this study,the fifth and sixth grade students of a primary school in Yan Ji City were selected as the survey objects,and the children’s self-esteem scale was issued to them,According to the evaluation results of the students,considering the high-level grade of the students and whether their parents are divorced or not,we interviewed the parents and teachers,Finally,based on the voluntary principle of students’,four subjects of sand play therapy intervention were selected,numbered F,h,P and Z respectively.In order to further evaluate the effectiveness of Sand play Therapy on self-esteem,four participants were followed up after3 months.Through investigation and intervention,the following conclusions are drawn:1.The results are as follows: 1.The overall self-esteem of Korean Chinese primary school students are at the average level.The scores of each dimension of self-esteem from high to low are: helping others with moral education,discipline,appearance,ability,sports and sense of achievement.2.There are significant differences in the self-esteem level of Korean Chinese primary school students in the variables of whether their parents are divorced or not and age.The level of self-esteem of the students whose parents are not divorced is significantly better than that of the students whose parents are divorced.The self-esteem level of the fifth grade students is significantly higher than that of the sixth grade students.3.Sand play therapy can effectively improve students’ self-esteem.Based on the conclusion,the following suggestions are put forward:1.Guide students to gain successful experience and improve their self-esteem.2.Focus on the psychology of students from divorced families to help students face the divorce correctly.3.Help graduating class release physical and mental stress,respect students’ self-esteem and promote students to become talents.4.Cultivate students’ learning ability and improve their self-esteem.5.Build a bridge of spiritual communication and promote the use of sand play therapy.
