With the rapid development of Internet technology,the traditional teaching methods have changed greatly.Virtual simulation technology has been widely used in education and teaching.The advantages of virtual simulation experiment teaching in college teaching are becoming more and more obvious.This not only puts forward higher requirements for education,but also pays more attention to the quality of education.The rise of new technology has brought new opportunities to special education.The state has issued policy documents to support the development of special education,and constantly promote the application of virtual simulation technology and artificial intelligence technology in education and teaching,so as to provide guarantee for the special education specialty to carry out teaching reform and train high-quality special education talents.At present,some universities have begun to try to use virtual simulation experiment to supplement the teaching of physical experiment.The application of virtual simulation experiment teaching in special education can solve the problems of time and space restriction,ethical restriction and resource shortage of the students in the real experiment.This study uses the advantages of virtual simulation experiment teaching in the field of special education,designs and develops VR experiment project for children with intellectual disabilities for special education normal students,and verifies its application effect and satisfaction through the practical application of normal students in special education,It provides reference for the reform practice of virtual simulation experiment in the field of special education.This study uses literature research method to define special education,virtual simulation experiment and other related concepts,and analyzes the relationship between constructivist learning theory,situational cognitive learning theory,embodied cognitive learning theory and virtual simulation experiment,so as to lay a theoretical foundation for the development and application of VR experimental project platform of education intervention for children with mental retardation.In addition,through reading a large number of literature,combing and analyzing the current research status of normal students’ educational practice of special education,the application and development status of virtual simulation experiment teaching in general education and special education at home and abroad,this paper summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of virtual simulation experiment in the field of special education.In order to solve the problems of time and space constraints,ethical constraints and lack of resources in the educational practice of normal students majoring in special education,the VR experimental project of educational intervention for children with mental retardation was developed for normal students majoring in special education by using virtual simulation technology.The training content of the experimental project was designed according to the curriculum standard of compulsory education in schools for the mentally retarded(2016 Edition)Special education professional training program of rehabilitation education courses "development and education of children with mental retardation" and cognitive characteristics of children with mental retardation and the goals and principles of education and rehabilitation to select sensory training as the training content of the experimental project,and then through unity3 d and 3DMAX development tools to develop the VR experimental project of educational intervention for children with mental retardation.After the development of the VR experimental project of educational intervention for children with mental retardation,through relevant experiments,according to the training effect of the real case intervention in educational practice of normal students majoring in special education,relevant data are collected,in order to verify the effectiveness and satisfaction of the application of VR experimental project of educational intervention for children with mental retardation.The conclusion of this study is: the VR experimental project of educational intervention for children with mental retardation can help normal students of special education major better understand the principle and process of educational intervention for children with mental retardation,master the relevant ability to help children with mental retardation improve their perception and cognition,so as to achieve better results in the real case intervention training of educational practice.In the aspect of the application satisfaction of the VR experimental project of educational intervention for children with mental retardation,the normal students of special education are more satisfied with using the virtual simulation experimental project platform for autonomous learning.The VR experimental project of education intervention for children with mental retardation designed and developed in this study can solve the problems existing in the pre service education practice of normal students majoring in special education,and provide new ideas for the reform of teaching practice of special education specialty in normal universities.
