With the emergence of "Internet + Education",a new form of education,the application of Internet technology in the field of education is getting higher and higher.Virtual simulation experimental resources have also received more attention from schools and the society.In order to better play the function of virtual simulation experiment,to meet the national strategy transformation of the major education reform requirements.As an extension of perception,virtual simulation technology not only enhances the subject's multi-dimensional perception of the environment,but also constructs the perceptual world of the cognitive subject,provides the source of perceptual materials,and enriches the composition of perceptual situations.Embodied cognition emphasizes the body perception and helps the brain construct knowledge.Based on the theoretical background of embodied cognition and the design principles of virtual simulation experiments in the context of embodied cognition at home and abroad,this study developed a virtual simulation experiment suitable for middle school students with "Green Plant Respiration" as the experimental content.The research content will be discussed from the following four aspects:(1)Definition of relevant theories and concepts.In this part,literature analysis is adopted to analyze relevant embodied cognition and virtual simulation experiments at home and abroad,and the connotation of embodied cognition,the concept and characteristics of virtual simulation experiments are defined on the basis of previous studies.(2)Virtual simulation experiment teaching model construction from the perspective of embodied cognition.After analyzing the teaching application of embodied cognition guidance by previous scholars,this part,starting from the research objective,proposes four construction principles to be followed,analyzes the influence relationship between elements,and then constructs the virtual simulation experimental teaching model from the perspective of embodied cognition.(3)Design and development of virtual simulation experiment from the perspective of embodied cognition.This part makes a detailed teaching analysis of the learning content of "Respiration of Green Plants",Chapter 5,Section 2,Biology Unit 3,Volume1,Grade 7,PEP.The paper elaborates the core elements of virtual simulation experiment and realizes the function of virtual simulation experiment.In order to ensure the accuracy of the experimental process and experimental results,according to the experimental purpose and the whole process of implementation,the experimental process design is carried out.This research is based on the Unity 3D engine,combined with Steam VR,VRTK and other plug-ins to develop a set of virtual simulation experimental system.(4)Application of virtual simulation experiment in embodied cognition perspective.In this part,the questionnaire survey method and data analysis method are used to carry out experiments among Grade 7 students to verify the application effect of the system,and according to the feedback results,the system is further improved.From the theoretical perspective of embodied cognition,this study integrates with virtual reality technology.In the virtual experiment,learners' sense of immersion is enhanced.Participation in body movements has a positive impact on learners' learning motivation and attitude,which provides theoretical and practical reference for future virtual simulation experiments guided by embodied cognition.
