| Physics is a basic discipline in the field of natural sciences, based on observation and experiments,to study the basic composition, interaction, motion laws of matter in nature,as well as the experimental means and research methods used.As a bridge connecting theoretical learning and practical learning, physics experiment is a special cognitive process that helps students consolidate basic physics knowledge, explore the physical world, and help students transform abstract theories into concrete phenomena,so as to deepen their understanding of physical concepts, theories and laws.High school physics experiment teaching pays more attention to the cultivation of students’ scientific thinking and subject literacy, teachers should give students full autonomy, encourage students to design their own inquiry plans, and provide opportunities to participate in physics experiments by themselves. The physics course at the high school level is integrated with various subjects horizontally and is based on each other, and vertically it also begins to involve some of the basic content of university physics.Atomic physics is a typical representative of it,which is closely related to frontier physics, and also involves some methods and means to explore the microscopic unknown world, which has certain value for cultivating students’ physical thinking. However, due to the fact that this part of the experiment requires professional instruments, abstract content, and the assessment strength in the college entrance examination is relatively small, the teaching method is relatively single, some teachers use the method of playing videos or self-made teaching aids to teach, students have not really understood and entered the forced memory and training link, thinking ability, practical ability can not be effectively improved.Virtual simulation technology can break through the limitations of time and space, make content concrete, and assist classroom teaching. With the advent of the era of artificial intelligence, emerging information technology means have brought profound changes to the field of education, provided important opportunities for educational innovation, and the integration of virtual simulation experiments and basic education is continuing to advance. In view of this, this study first sorts out the development and application status of virtual simulation experiments at home and abroad, and summarizes the common virtual teaching scenarios and teaching modes. Then, the advantages, theoretical basis and core technologies of virtual simulation experiments were analyzed. Then, taking the two experiments in the section of "Nuclear Structure Model of Atoms"as examples, the design requirements were analyzed, the development principles were clarified, and the 3D Max modeling tool and Unity 3D development engine were comprehensively used to establish experimental instrument models and simulate the experimental process, and combined with reasonable and beautiful interface interaction, the development of virtual simulation experiments was completed. Finally, the virtual simulation experiment is combined with the HPS teaching mode, and the teaching design, teaching practice and teaching data analysis are carried out according to the content of this section to test the role of virtual experiment in improving learning performance and learning participation, and based on this, the students’ attitude towards virtual simulation experiment is further explored. The results show that the introduction of virtual simulation experiments into high school physics can effectively make up for the shortcomings of traditional experiments and have certain feasibility.Virtual simulation experiments can not only enrich teaching methods, improve teaching effects, and improve learning performance, but also bring students novel learning experiences, stimulate interest in learning, and truly achieve "edutainment".Teachers and students are satisfied with the experiments developed in this study and have a positive attitude towards the promotion of virtual simulation experiments. The development of this virtual experiment is a positive attempt of modern education technology to help basic education, and also lays the foundation for the development of virtual experiments in physics in the future, and promotes the popularization of virtual experiments in high school. |
