| Social service is one of the important functions of higher vocational education.Higher vocational education aims to cultivate front-line talents in production,construction and service management.Higher vocational colleges are committed to social service,which is also the need of their own development and regional economic development.Social service is the way to solve the employment problem of higher vocational students.The research on vocational students’ participation in career-driven social services is beneficial to the promotion of vocational students’ integration into the society,the improvement of vocational quality and comprehensive quality,the expansion of employment,and the enhancement of the inclusiveness and openness of China’s vocational education.This research takes the flight service major of Zhejiang Yuying Vocational and Technical College as an sample..Based on Marxist theory of human and social relations,new public management theory,public management process theory and organization management theory,and by using case analysis,questionnaire survey and interview,with the objective description and analysis of actual examples about the flight service majors of Yuying participation in the G20 Summit in 2016,World Conference on the Internet and other practical cases.800 online questionnaires were distributed and 782 were recovered,of which 760 were valid and the questionnaire efficiency was 97.2%.13 interviews were conducted with 40 respondents of various types.Through case analysis and investigation found that the higher vocational students on career goals driven is still lack certain rational cognition,higher vocational colleges are short of system planning in organizing students to participate in career goals driven service,the relevant enterprises haven’t constructed scientific and effective cooperation mechanism with higher vocational colleges,the government has not yet established the top-level design on higher vocational students career goals driven,policy support is not strong enough.In this regard,this study introduces the thoughts and reformation made in promoting and improving vocational students’ participation in vocational goal-driven social service:guiding students to establish a correct concept of social service and employment;encouraging vocational colleges to take social service driven by career goals as an important way to promote employment;supporting enterprises to provide platforms and opportunities of career-driven social service;promoting the government to give greater support for career-driven social services. |
