Research On The Management Dilemmas And Strategies Of Headteachers In After-school Tutoring Institutions Under Humanistic View

Abstract/Summary:
With the progress of the times and the rapid development of the economy,after-school tutoring,as a supplementary form of mainstream education,is gradually developing and expanding.Since the 1990s,scholars have been doing research on after-school tutoring education,but there is little research on after-school tutoring institutions.This paper mainly focuses on the management problems of headteachers in after-school tutoring institutions by studying Z "one-to-one" after-school tutoring institution in Yueyang city,discussing present situations,successful achievements and problems of headteachers in the Z "one-to-one" after-school tutoring institution,and then the problems of headteachers will be solved by using humanistic theory.The research shows that the management dilemma of headteachers in Z "one-to-one" after-school tutoring institution is mainly manifested in four aspects:firstly,after-school tutoring institutions attach too much importance to economic attributes;secondly,the professional knowledge and skills of headteachers in after-school tutoring institutions are not enough;thirdly,students’ parents do not pay attention to the role of headteachers in after-school tutoring institutions;fourthly,under the background of the exam-oriented education society,parents and students are too keen on grades.In view of these four dilemmas,this paper puts forward strategies to deal with the dilemmas from the aspects of after-school tutoring institutions,headteachers,students and parents,and society.
