By early adolescence, students are conflicts of independence in psychological and dependence in parents, coupled with life and academic pressures, and they are possible in emotional distress and social anxiety at this time. This research starts from parenting styles, and investigates the social anxiety status of early adolescent students, and discuss the effect of regulatory emotional self-efficacy(RESE)in the formers.Study 1,a survey of 447 early adolescent students participated in the research. The purpose is to find the role of RESE between parenting styles and social anxiety.Study 2 based on study 1.Early adolescent students with high social anxiety and also with the characteristics of low RESE were selected and divided into 2 groups each including 9 members. The experimental group received 7 interventions about "Regulatory emotional self-efficacy",and the control group took self-study at the same time. Before and after the experiment, the data of the two groups were collected. Results are as follows:(1)In gender, boys with higher RESE have lower levels of social anxiety than girls, and at the same time receive more negative parenting styles from their fathers;in grades, eight graders with higher RESE have lower levels of social anxiety than seven graders, and their parents adopt more negative parenting styles to eight graders.(2)After controlling for the relevant variables,a partial correlation analysis was performed on the research variables, and the results showed that there is a pairwise correlation;four negative parenting styles can negatively predict RESE and positively predict social anxiety;two positive parenting styles can positively predict RESE and negatively predict social anxiety;RESE has a negative predictive effect on social anxiety.(3)After controlling for the relevant variables,RESE played a mediating role between the six parenting styles and social anxiety.(4)Students with high social anxiety and relatively low RESE,after the intervention, the level of the former is reduced, and the level of the latter is significantly improved.
