The Present Situation And Improvement Ways Of Route Setting In Commercial Rock Climbing Gyms

Climbing was included as an official sport for the first time at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.Since the Olympic Games were decided in 2016,the global sport of rock climbing has experienced unprecedented growth.However,the existing domestic rock climbing industry resources and industry talent growth is far from enough to meet the development of rock climbing.The commercial rock climbing gymnasium is the cornerstone of the development of domestic rock climbing,among which the alignment work is the key work in the climbing gymnasium,and the quality of the alignment work is directly related to the development of rock climbing.This article from the commercial climbing gym in the line work as the entry point,through the questionnaire survey method,expert interview method,field investigation method,statistical method and other research methods,in-depth exploration of the climbing gym users and operators on the climbing gym line needs and suggestions,research on the existing problems of climbing gym line work,and put forward improvement suggestions.Most climbing gyms do not have clear regulations on the process and specification of line changing work,and there are often some safety problems on the line.As a sports event with high risk,the venue needs qualified hardware facilities to meet the requirements of "high risk certificate",and also perfect the regulation of alignment to reduce accidents caused by line design.At the same time,the difficulty grading of climbing gym is often criticized by people.How to improve the standardization of difficulty grading is also one of the key points discussed in this paper.In addition,the frequency of changing the route of different climbing gyms is also different,only less than half of the climbing gyms can maintain the frequency of changing the line once a month,and the customer satisfaction of the other climbing gyms with a lower frequency of changing the line is often not high.Starting from helping the development of domestic rock climbing,this study explores the current situation of alignment work in domestic commercial climbing gyms and its improvement approaches.Questionnaire survey was used to understand the views of the operators of the climbing museum on the current situation of the route,and to collect the opinions of the users of the climbing museum on the route and the feedback of the climbing.Through 13 times of on-the-spot alignment practice,I have intuitively and profoundly understood all aspects of rock climbing alignment work.According to the collected data and the use of relevant software for data processing,find out the most influential factors on the climbing gym alignment work,and based on this to explore the optimization of alignment work.In view of the current situation of commercial rock climbing gyms in China and the feedback of climbers on the route,this paper puts forward the following suggestions: to appropriately increase the frequency of changing the route in the climbing gyms,to keep the freshness of the route for the climbers,to increase the interest of the climbers in climbing and to improve the competitiveness of the climbing gyms.Strengthen the training of the line setting ability of the climber,perfect the standardized process of the difficulty grading of the line,consider the influence of strength,flexibility,technology,difficult reading of the line and other factors on the difficulty of the line,and ensure the consistency of the line grading standard of the climbing gym.Carry out the safety responsibility to the linesetter,improve the safety of the line.
