Research On The Professional Competence Improvement Of Teachers In Guangdong Machinery Technician College

Technical education is an important part of modern vocational education,an important base for training high-quality workers and high skilled talents,and also a strong support for promoting high-quality economic development and improving national competitiveness.Teachers are the foundation of education.At present,there are some problems in the Faculty of technical colleges,such as weak professional concept,low level of professional skills operation,unreasonable structure,and imperfect training mechanism,which seriously restrict the cultivation of high skilled talents.In this paper,the domestic and foreign research status of competency is systematically elaborated.Starting from the competency theory and incentive theory,the paper uses literature analysis method to study the competency elements of technical school teachers,to clarify the connotation and requirements of the competency of technical school teachers.Taking the teachers and students of Guangdong Machinery Technician College as the research carrier,through the structured interview and questionnaire survey,combined with the general situation of the teachers’ team of Guangdong Machinery Technician College,this paper extracts the professional competency elements of the teachers of Guangdong Machinery Technician College in six aspects: professionalism,professional basis,teaching ability,general quality,professional development ability and student management ability.Through the evaluation of some teachers and students of Guangdong Machinery Technician College on the professional competence of teachers,this paper analyzes the shortcomings of the professional competence of teachers in Guangdong Machinery Technician College,and puts forward operational suggestions and Countermeasures to improve the professional competence ofteachers in Guangdong Machinery Technician College,so as to provide reference for the improvement of the professional competence of teachers in technical colleges.
