| With the rapid improvement of competitive sports achievements in China,China has put forward the construction of sports power,and the construction of sports power has become the development and strategic goal of sports work reform in the new period of our country.Nowadays,China’s sports is in an important period when the sports power is moving forward to the sports power,and the construction of the sports power needs competitive sports to maintain a strong position.Olympic champion is an indispensable part of competitive sports.Analyzing the social flow of retired Olympic champion is helpful to better think about and explore where our competitive sports will go,how to maintain the strong position of Chinese competitive sports and how to realize the sustainable development of competitive sports.So this study from the sociological point of view,using literature materials,expert interviews,mathematical statistics and path analysis and other methods,combined with social stratification theory and social mobility theory to study the social mobility of 179 retired Olympic champions in China.The purpose of this study is to analyze the social mobility of the retired Olympic champions in China,to find out the problems existing in the intergenerational and intragenerational mobility of the retired Olympic champions in China,to explore the factors affecting the social mobility of the retired Olympic champions in China,and to provide a theoretical reference for the development of competitive sports in China.The research results show that: first,after professional sports career,most of the retired Olympic champions in China have achieved upward mobility,the career flow channel is relatively single,only part of the flow to non-sports industries,such as singers,actors and writers;second,from the family social class,China’s retired Olympic champion social mobility structure is relatively open,the overall alternative social mobility mainly;Third,although the social mobility of China’s retired Olympic champions is affected by the national social mobility environment,but at the same time its social mobility trajectory has relative independence,it will also be affected by family factors,social environment,education level and other factors.And put forward some suggestions:(1)To improve the policies and guarantee system for the retirement and placement of Olympic champions;(2)to cultivate the individual enterprising consciousness of retired Olympic champions;(3)to strengthen the professional planning and training of retired Olympic champions;(4)to change the concept to create a good atmosphere for retired Olympic champions to re-enter employment. |
