Research On Shaping Xinjiang University Students’ Personality With Chinese Excellent Traditional Culture

Chinese excellent traditional culture is the crystallization of the wisdom of the Chinese nation and the end-result of the soul."Culture is the soul of a country and a nation.Culture is prosperous,and the fortune of the nation is prosperous;culture is strong,and the nation is strong."General Secretary Xi Jinping said in the reports of the 19^thNational Congress of CPC.The excellent traditional Chinese culture is the root of China and the soul of the nation,providing spiritual support and ideological guidance for the realization of the Chinese dream.General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out in the national college ideological and political work conference that to train new people to take on the great responsibility of national rejuvenation,the cultivation of virtue is the foundation of the university,is the fundamental requirement for talent training.College students are in the"jointing and booting stage"in their life.To shape their sound personality is not only the fundamental task of cultivating morality in colleges and universities,but also the realization of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Xinjiang has a special strategic position and is the forefront of the struggle against separatism.To shape Chinese excellent traditional culture of Xinjiang college students’personality,to guide their study and strive for virtues,discernment,probity,to national prosperity,people’s happiness as own duty,the ideal life into the cause of the country and nation,cultivate it as builders and successors to the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics,further maintaining the reunification of the motherland,Xinjiang social stability and security.This paper is divided into four parts:the first part,introduction.This paper gives a brief overview of the research background,significance,general ideas and research methods.The second part is an overview of related concepts.Based on the definition of the connotation and characteristics of"Chinese excellent traditional culture"and"personality",this paper expounds the essence of personality theory in Chinese excellent traditional culture on the basis of clarifying the concept:the personality cultivation of honest heart、tenacious will、virtue and perseverance;Love the social care of mutual aid and self-reliance;The rise and fall of the world,every man is responsible for the feelings of the country;Be vigorous,ambitious and self-reliant.The third part analyzes the current situation of shaping the personality of Xinjiang university students with the excellent Chinese traditional culture.This paper analyzes the main effects,the main problems and the causes of the problems by issuing questionnaires to the universities in Xinjiang.The fourth part is about the countermeasures to shape the personality of Xinjiang university students with the excellent Chinese traditional culture:following the principle of all-round development,people-oriented,main initiative and progressive level;To develop a perfect personality structure,establish the value concept of benevolence,cultivate a positive and enterprising personality,carry forward the Confucian gentleman’s personality,strengthen the content of social responsibility education;Through college education,campus culture,social practice,family education and self-education into the path.
