| In recent years,the state and society attach great importance to family education.Ahead of the fourth session of the 13 th National People’s Congress of the People’s Republic of China and the fourth session of the 13 th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference in 2021,topics related to family education have been high on the list of education hot spots.Furthermore,influenced by the curriculum reform of basic education,people increasingly pay attention to the cultivation of students’ habits.Good homework habits are not only helpful to students’ study,but also can temper students’ will and cultivate their character.However,there are still many bad homework habits in primary school students,which are affected by family factors.Pupils study at home after school.Parents are responsible subjects of family education,and their styles play an important role in forming good homework habits for pupils.Therefore,this study is carried out from two aspects:parenting styles and homework habits.This study explores the influence of parenting styles,which is the most important in family education on pupils’ homework habits.This study adopts literature method,questionnaire method and case analysis method.First of all,by referring to relevant books and literature,the concepts of parenting styles,habits and homework habits are defined,and the relevant research at home and abroad is sorted out.Secondly,on the basis of previous studies,data are collected by using the scale of parental rearing styles and the scale of primary school students’ work habits.After collecting data,difference analysis is conducted on parenting styles and work habits respectively,and then correlation analysis and regression analysis are conducted on parenting styles and work habits.In this way,the present situation of parenting style is discussed,the problems existing in pupils’ homework habits are analyzed,and the influence of parenting styles on the formation of homework habits is explored.Thirdly,after the statistical analysis of the data,some students’ parents and teachers are interviewed to form cases to supplement the questionnaire results.Finally,the paper puts forward some parenting strategies to cultivate pupils’ good working habits.The results of this study show that caring and encouraging independent parenting styles have a positive effect on the formation of homework habits of primary school students.The cold and controlling parenting styles have a negative effect on the formation of working habits.Through discussion and analysis,it is found that primary school students still have four problems: lacking of review before writing homework;lacking of conscious awareness of checking homework;the habit of active correction and reflection is not formed and homework delay.According to the problems existing in pupils’ homework habits,the following five parenting factors are summed up: There is a deviation in parenting attitude;the quality of family education is inconsistent.Fathers are less involved in family education.The family learning atmosphere is poor.The education method is not appropriate.So,five parenting strategies are proposed: Parents should correct their manners and love their children sensibly.Parents improve their own literacy and set an example for their children.Fathers should be more involved in their children’s education.Family should create a democratic and harmonious family atmosphere and provide a good family learning environment for children.Parents should improve their educational methods. |
