| Since 2000,China has begun to enter an aging society, the number of elderly people continued to increase, and at the same time it has began to enter a period of rapid social and economic transformation.Existing studies have shown that in the process of urban social transformation and spatial reconstruction, the phenomenon of social spatial polarization in the unit of street and town is significant. The imbalance of economic development is transforming into a more complex social imbalance and regional imbalance, which promotes the uneven development of urban and rural areas/regions in the aging pattern. At present,China’s aging situation is becoming increasingly severe, and there is a significant imbalance in space. However, affected by the importance of the research area and the difficulty of data acquisition, the current domestic research on the aging pattern within the city is mostly a case of a single city, and there is a lack of systematic comparative research on multiple cities. This paper takes cities at prefecture level and above in China as the research object.Based on the data of the 2000 Fifth Census and the 2010 Sixth Census at the street and town scale, this paper uses exploratory spatial analysis and stepwise regression analysis to explore and analyze the characteristics, regional differences and their influencing factors of the aging pattern of Chinese cities. This article is divided into six chapters. The first chapter is the introduction, expounding the research background and significance of this article, focusing on the research on the regional differences of aging at different spatial scales at home and abroad and their influencing factors and dynamic mechanisms. The second chapter is about the data and analysis methods, the spatialization and merging of population data, the construction of a data index system, and the division of the city’s physical area and circle.Introduces three analysis methods for aging pattern research, regional difference spatial pattern analysis research, and aging pattern influence factor research, and elaborates on the regional analysis ideas and steps with and without prior experience. The third chapter is the type and distribution of the aging pattern within the city.Based on the division of the inner regions of the city(two-circle-layer model,three-circlelayer model, and four-circle-layer model),identify the types of aging patterns in Chinese cities at prefecture level and above in 2000 and 2010,and analyze these types of quantitative structure characteristics and spatial distribution characteristics. The fourth chapter is the analysis of regional differences in the aging pattern within cities at the national scale. The urban-rural aging difference index was designed to quantitatively measure the urban aging pattern. The two-circle model of the aging pattern within the city from 2000 to 2010,and the regional difference characteristics at the national scale, have prior experience(east, middle, and west regions).Division)analysis and exploratory spatial analysis without prior experience.Chapter 5 analyzes the influencing factors of the aging pattern within Chinese cities.Construct an indicator system for the factors affecting the aging pattern within Chinese cities, collect and sort relevant data, and use a stepwise regression model to do a quantitative empirical analysis of the factors in order to explore the factors affecting the pattern of aging within Chinese cities.Chapter VI summarizes the main conclusions of this research and discusses the shortcomings. The main conclusions of this paper are as follows: 1)The aging pattern within Chinese cities is complex and diverse, and is not completely the same as that of North American and Japanese cities;the aging rate is high in the core areas and outer suburbs, and low in peripheral areas and suburbs. The aging circle model does not apply to most cities in China. The aging of Chinese cities in 2000 and 2010 were both "homogeneous"(that is,the aging degree of different circles within the city is the same type). With the passage of time,Chinese cities continue to develop and change, and the aging circle structure is increasing.Complicated, the aging pattern of the three-ring and four-ring cities continues to increase.2)Under the “urban-suburban” two-circle model, there are obvious differences in the types of urban aging patterns in the east, middle and west regions;at the same time, there are spatial differences in the types of aging patterns in Chinese cities, which increase over time, and still exist. The spatial positive correlation features mainly "HH" and "LL" agglomeration,as well as the "hotspots" and "cold spots" where the difference index of aging degree between urban and rural areas is high and low.3)The urbanization rate and the proportion of foreign population will have a positive impact on the urban aging pattern in 2000 and 2010;the per capita GDP and the proportion of the tertiary industry employed population will have a negative impact on the urban aging pattern in 2000 and 2010 In addition, the proportion of the outgoing household registration population will also have a negative impact on the urban aging pattern in 2010. |
