Research On The Evolution Of China's International Talent Space-time Pattern And Its Impact On Regional Innovation Capabilities

As China becomes more open to the outside world,the introduction of international talents has become one of the important ways to enhance China's regional innovation capabilities.What is the current spatial distribution of international talents in China and how does the influx of overseas experts affect the improvement of regional innovation capabilities? They are the main issues discussed in this article.In response to the above problems,this article first defines the meaning of international talents and regional innovation capabilities,and sorts out related theories.Second,explore the evolutionary characteristics of the spatial pattern of China's international talents and regional innovation activities and understand the current status of China's international talents and regional innovation development.Finally,we explore the contribution of international talents inflows to regional innovation capabilities at the national and regional levels,and propose policy recommendations based on research findings.According to the above research ideas,based on the data of international talents and regional innovations capabilities in 30 provinces and cities from 2006 to 2015,this paper analyzes the spatial pattern of international talents and regional innovation activities in China using location quotients,exploratory spatial analysis methods and spatial panel measurement models Evolutionary characteristics and the impact of international talent inflows on regional innovation capabilities.The main research conclusions include:(1)Although the overall scale of China's international talents showed an increasing trend from 2006 to 2015,the degree of talent concentration is still small,and there is a significant imbalance between regions.Eastern provinces and cities have more international talents than central and western provinces and cities.(2)There is a positive spatial correlation between the distribution of China's international talents and regional innovation activities.Provinces with larger international talents and more regional innovation activities are adjacent to regions of the same nature..Provinces with relatively scarce international talent resources and less regional innovation activities also have lower international talent concentration and regional innovation output in the surrounding areas.Among them,HH provinces are mainly eastern provinces and cities,LL provinces are mainly central and western provinces and cities.Over time,this trend has continued to strengthen.(3)The expansion of the scale of international talents has a significant role in promoting China's regional innovation level.The number of international talents increased by 1%,and the number of regional patents increased by 0.255%.In terms of different regions,the expansion of the scale of international talents in the eastern region has a significant positive impact on the improvement of regional innovation capabilities,while the effect of the central and western regions is not obvious.
