Research objectives:As an important part of children’s physical and mental development,the early childhood is the key period for children to exercise and improve their sports ability.At this stage,children have a very strong plasticity.The improvement of children’s sports ability can lay a good foundation for the development of their sports skills.Children’s sports ability is affected by heredity,environment,activities and other factors in the development of children’s sports ability,among which genetics and environment are the two most important factors affecting the development of children’s sports ability,and genetic factors are difficult to change,while environment has become the most significant controllable factor affecting the development of children’s sports ability.Kindergarten is the main place for children’s daily life and activities,and its sports environment plays an important role in the development of children’s sports ability.Therefore,this study mainly discusses the influence of sports environment on children’s sports ability.Research Methods:This study randomly selected 8 kindergartens of different grades,demonstration and general,in the central urban area of Wuhan,and mainly used literature,interview,investigation,measurement and mathematical statistics methods to evaluate the physical environment of kindergartens and children’s sports ability.The situational assessment of children’s physical environment was carried out by using the Chinese Kindergarten Education Quality Environment Scale,which was based on the American Kindergarten Education Quality Environment Assessment Scale.The scores of physical environment indicators were obtained by using the seven-point scoring method.Using the evaluation standard of "National Physical Fitness Measurement Standard Manual(Infant Part)",the exercise ability of 246 children from 16 classes randomly selected from 8 kindergartens was tested,and the scores of children’s exercise ability were obtained.To compare the physical environment of different grades of kindergartens and children’s sports ability,and analyze their correlation.Research Conclusions:(1)In terms of sports environment,there are differences in the sports environment between the two grades of kindergartens in the central urban area of Wuhan,which can be seen as follows:Demonstration kindergartens are better than ordinary kindergartens,showing obvious differences in the dimension of physical activity organization.Demonstration kindergartens show obvious advantages in the average scores of the three items of physical activity opportunity and time,fitness of physical activity,and physical activity guidance.(2)The physical development of 246 children aged 4-6 in 8 kindergartens in the central city of Wuhan was good,but the development of six areas of motor ability was not balanced,speed,dexterity,coordination and balance were well developed,strength and flexibility were low,so more training was needed.Kindergarten children of different levels of sports ability performance is different,the demonstration kindergarten children’s speed,agility,coordination,balanced development level is higher than that of ordinary kindergarten children,but in strength,flexibility of ordinary kindergarten children performance is better than that of demonstration kindergarten children;Children of different genders also show differences in sports ability,mainly in strength and balance ability,strength is better than girls,in balance ability of girls better than boys;(3)The survey results show that there is a positive correlation between sports environment and sports ability of 4-6 years old children,the correlation value is 0.376,P > 0.05,indicating that good sports environment can promote the development of sports ability of children.Its correlation is mainly manifested in the two dimensions of sports activity venues and facilities,and sports activity organization.Among the measured sports environment items,the most obvious correlation is the type and quantity of facilities and equipment of venues and sports activity guidance.
