As an important carrier for the implementation of teaching and the construction of teaching staff in higher vocational colleges,the high-quality development of higher vocational education is inseparable from the construction of grassroots teaching organizations.In the new era,China’s higher vocational education is facing huge challenges.The traditional grassroots teaching organization in higher vocational colleges is increasingly unable to meet the educating requirements of high-quality technical and skilled talents.Therefore,it is necessary to strengthen the research on the grassroots teaching organization of higher vocational colleges.This research is divided into seven parts.The first chapter is the introduction,it mainly includes four parts: the research background and significance of this research,literature review,core concept definition and research plan.The second chapter focuses on the theoretical basis of this research,mainly using the literature research method,firstly,it clarified the basic problems currently faced by grassroots teaching organizations in higher vocational colleges,secondly,it presents the main content of Structural Functionalism Theory and System Contingency Theory,finally,based on the theory puts forward the analytical framework of this research,and determines five analytical dimensions of organizational settings and goals,teacher structure within the organization,organizational operating mechanism,organizational culture construction,and organizational system construction.The third chapter is about the historical evolution of the grassroots teaching organization of higher vocational colleges.Through the historical research method,it sorts out the several stages of the development of grassroots teaching organizations in higher vocational colleges and analyzes the characteristics of their development at different stages of development.The fourth chapter is the status of grassroots teaching organizations in higher vocational colleges.Through the case study method,it presents the status of the grassroots teaching organization in a representative higher vocational college.The fifth chapter analyzes the case from five dimensions of organizational settings and goals,teacher structure within the organization,organizational operating mechanism,organizational culture construction,and organizational system construction,and analyzes the existing problems and the reasons behind the problems.The sixth chapter is based on the previous research,and puts forward targeted suggestions on the optimization of the grassroots teaching organization of higher vocational colleges.The seventh chapter is the summary and prospect of this research.Therefore,the research conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)The grassroots teaching organization of higher vocational colleges has experienced three stages: the initial construction period,the transformation period,the breakthrough period.Each period has different characteristics(2)At present,the grassroots teaching organizations of higher vocational colleges have the problems of the logic of the organizational setting is single,the organizational goals and functions are deviated,the organizational structure is lacking in rationality,the organizational operating mechanism needs to be improved,and the organizational culture and system construction are insufficient.(3)After in-depth analysis,it is found that the reasons for these problems are as follows:the existence of path dependence in the management system of higher vocational colleges,the lack of academic power of the organization,and the lack of organizational professionalism construction concepts.Based on the above,the suggestions put forward by this research are as follows: First,the objectives and functions of the organization should be clarified,and the academic standard of the organization should be maintained,including the organization setting should meet the needs of professional characteristics,and the organization’s academic standard goals should be determined.Second,the internal construction of the organization should be improved to promote the functioning of the organization,including building an efficient organizational operation system and creating a people-oriented organizational culture.Third,the management system of higher vocational colleges should be optimized to improve the external environment of the organization,including breaking through the hierarchical management model of the school,strengthening the macro management of the school organization,and improving the system construction of the grassroots teaching organization.
