With the comprehensive popularization of compulsory education and the vigorous development of elite education in China,as the conveyor belt of social elites,the professional pressure of college teachers is becoming more and more obvious.Young teachers,as the backbone,often bear more professional pressure of scientific research and teaching,but also face economic pressure and other pressures from different dimensions.Although it is said that pressure can give people motivation,improve the ability of young teachers to work in Colleges and universities,and bring positive impact,too much pressure will cause physical and psychological damage to young teachers,and even have a negative impact on students,colleges and the whole society.The research on the occupational pressure of young teachers in Colleges and universities and the countermeasures to alleviate it are not only conducive to the career development of individual teachers in Colleges and universities,but also conducive to the benign interaction of the educational environment in Colleges and universities.This study takes young college teachers under 40 years old in Jilin Province as the research object,based on the literature research method and the theoretical application of Robbins’ stress theory model,designs the rudiment of the professional stress questionnaire for young college teachers in Jilin Province,and uses the questionnaire survey method and statistical analysis method to pre test 156 randomly selected samples,Through exploratory factor analysis,the formal questionnaire of young teachers’ occupational stress in Colleges and universities of Jilin Province was formed,and 238 valid questionnaires were collected for confirmatory factor analysis,Young college teachers in Jilin Province are generally on the high side of the pressure.There is a certain correlation between the pressure caused by various factors and the overall pressure.The pressure from the aspects of work load and life security is significantly greater.There are significant differences in different sources of pressure in terms of professional title,gender and education background.Combined with Maslow’s demand theory and stress trading theory,we find that we can analyze the causes of young teachers’ pressure from three perspectives: social expectation,university organization and teachers’ individual.Accordingly,the paper puts forward countermeasures from three aspects of society,university organizations and individual teachers,including:the rationalization of social expectation guided by the government,the establishment of humanized organization and management system,the improvement of effective teacher training mechanism,the establishment of a reasonable salary system,the improvement of teachers’ working environment,the strengthening of self adjustment of teachers’ body and mind,the maintenance of good interpersonal relationship,the establishment of a reasonable salary system,and the improvement of teachers’ working environment Self improvement and continuing education.
